Ah, there's a real chance to Katich, but it hit the front leg so gently that the umpire may not have seen it and taken it to be hitting high on the back leg and turning away.

You look at the build up in this game and you would say England have had the stronger bowling attack. Australia's bowlers have out-bowled England so far, with Hilfenhaus and Siddle have out-bowled Broad and Anderson and Haurtiz, would you believe, has out-bowled Swann and Panesar!

England are seemingly now relying once against on Flintoff, and yet he can only bowl a spell of 6 overs.

Australians looking comfortable but a collapse is always possible in Ashes cricket. Katich and Ponting need to take them past 250 if they wish to take unrivalled control of this match.
