1st Test: England v Australia

ah what is happening, I just woke up! so glad we made past 400 but this is not looking good. We have to get this pair out. How did Anderson bowl ?

lol. Love bumble. Prolly get sick of him by the 3rd test but he's not boring.

Probably just making up for the Pietersen decision in the first innings... It's like watching AFL...

Yeah it is. Except without the Barry Hall moments... wouldn't mind an old flintoff v Johnson punch up.

He limped off the field. Not good for England if Broad is injured. They're in a tough spot as it is.

Tbh he hasn't really bowled that well. England should just stick to using Swann, Flintoff and Panesar for a while.

You look at the build up in this game and you would say England have had the stronger bowling attack. Australia's bowlers have out-bowled England so far, with Hilfenhaus and Siddle have out-bowled Broad and Anderson and Haurtiz, would you believe, has out-bowled Swann and Panesar!

England are seemingly now relying once against on Flintoff, and yet he can only bowl a spell of 6 overs.

Don't agree about Swann. Think he's bowled far better than Hauritz did. Swann's actually been able to keep the runs down, something Hauritz simply didn't do, going at almost 4 an over. Swann's bowled 12 overs for 6 maidens, he's creating pressure, it's just being released at the other end, most notably by Panesar and Broad.

Can't see us getting 10 wickets tbh. Australia will get 550odd declared.

Plus getting smacked around by the lower-order doesn't impress anyone. Swann has been far better then Hauritz.

I see your point but Hauritz has actually looked threatening at times and he's got more purchase than both spinners.

Its going to take a real jaffa to get these two out. Maybe we should bring Pratt back on the field and shoo off Broad.

Give Bopara a go Straussy!

The pitch doesn't have a lot in it anymore. It's coming on to the bat nicely which is making runs easier to come by. Swann is your best bet atm hitting the rough.
