I lost a T20 with the AI chasing 170 in 19 overs, so from a sample of one, yes.
Play career mode, just use the new option to start older with more skills. It might take you a year to finish, but I think it is the best mode to play, especially if you don't have much time.
The superhuman fielders have been patched out in patch 2.How is the superhuman fielding addressed and does patch 2 make the disappearence of save file while players offline multiplayer end?
The superhuman fielders have been patched out in patch 2.
What the main issue was with regards to the fielders was that instead of having a gradual time to accelerate through to top speed in their movement system, they would go from 0-100 instantly. This caused that whole 'superhuman' movement that we've all seen, we've now put a cap on this so that players will move a lot more naturally to the ball.
On top of that, the players top speed was a little too much for cricketers, so we've decreased their overall top speed to ensure they don't cover unrealistic amounts of grass in unrealistic amounts of time.
Save file issues should be fixed.
Sorry if its being asked. Can we play world cup in career mode?

Have they removed the auto difficulty increase as you make the international squads.
It does. The difficulty increases as your skill rises as well as reaching newer levels like International, but the difficulty level rise will only go up by a maximum of two levels, so as to make sure no rookie rises up to Legend.
For example, if you start off at Rookie difficulty level and select one of the new age starting points (let's say 31yo) that puts you at rank 4 for skill, you will go up a difficulty level for reaching International and then another difficulty for reaching rank 5 on skill.
As said, you will only go up in difficulty by a maximum of 2 spots though. So Rookie to a max of Pro, Amateur to a max of Veteran, Pro to a max of Legend, Veteran to a max of Legend and Legend will stay at Legend.Legend remains the same.
Pro has been tuned to be more in between Amateur and Veteran like it should've been, giving an easier ramp up. And Veteran has been made similar to what Pro was with a few minor tweaks in there.
The instances of it occurring will be lessened, it's mainly down to factors that include the speed of the ball, intercept points and the system choosing between which of two players at almost the same points in the field need to go and get the ball.Great news.
Just wondering if this also applies to the situations where the fielders run towards the ball in slow motion and you can steal an extra run. I see this happening frequently - it even raises suspicion that the AI wants to keep you on strike for some reason.....
