Mark Nicholas:I have the captain of England, Andrew Flintoff with me here. Now Andrew dissapointing loss. What happened?
Andrew Flintoff:Yes Mark very dissaponting but its a 5 match series and the boys will have to improve ahead of next weeks clash in Adelaide. As for what happened, we just weren't good enough. Keven Pietersen as great though but he didn't have enough support
Mark Nicholas:Well bad luck mate. I now move on to the winning captain, Ricky Ponting. Well done today Ricky
Ricky Ponting:Thanks Mark. It was brilliant. Everynody put in a great performance and I was delighted with my form but obviously there is still another 4 matches to go so we will have to carry our form over to Adelaide
Mark Nicholas:Well its time for the man of the match award. There was some great performances like Shane Warnes 6 wickets, Brett Lees 5, Kevin Pietersens 150 and Haydens 100 but the winner is Ricky Ponting. Congratualations Ricky. Heres a cheque for $10,000 dollars
Ricky Ponting:Cheers Mark. This just tops of a brilliant match for me and the team. There was a lot of big scores and 5 wicket hauls but I'm just over the moon about winning this
Australia have announced a 12 man squad for the 2nd Test in Adelaide. Shaun Tait has come into the squad replacing Staurt Clark who bowled badly in Brisbane with match figures of 1/114. Shaun Tait says he can't wait to play his first game in Australia at his home ground. Also Damien Martyn has been dropped with scores of 1 and 4 in the 1st Test. He will be repliced by Michael Hussey

Well the pitch is nearly the same as the Brisbane pitch. It has a bit in it for both teams early on but will start to crack around Day 4. It will be interesting to see how Shane Warne goes on it
England
England must win or draw this game to keep them in the hunt for the Ashes. Lose this one and they will be 0-2 down going into the Perth Test match with Australia with the momentum. Harmison and Hoggard must take early wickets and stop Ricky Ponting becuase once he gets his eye in he is hard to stop. Kevin Pietersen must continue his form into this match but it must start with a strong opening partnership
Australia
Australia have momentum from the Brisbane Test but must carry that into this game. If they Bat first it will be important that they make a solid start to put pressure on England. if they bowl first Lee will need to bowl tight, keep the runs but at the same time aim at getting wickets. Pietersen will be the big wicket for them
Mark Nicholas:Hello I'm here with Ricky Ponting who has just one the toss. What was the reason behind that decision?
Ricky Ponting:Well its a good wicket for batting so hopefully Mathew and Justin will be able to build a solid opening partnership
Mark Nicholas:Good Luck for today Ricky. I now move on to Andrew Flintoff. Now Andrew would you have chosen to bat?
Andrew Flintoff:Yeah I probarly would have but there is no time for dwelling on it. We just have to go out and bowl tight and maybe snare a few wickets
Mark Nicholas:Good Luck today fellas. Its a good day for cricket today. Blue skys, around 24 degrees
ENGLAND TAKE 3 WICKETS TO HOLD UPPER HAND AT LUNCH
England have bowled brilliantly to have Australia at 3/97 at Lunch on Day 1. Hoggard and Harmison were the wicket takers. They will need to break the Partnership between Hussey (27*) and Clarke (13*).
