Asia Cup 2010 - Sri Lanka

No Ashraful for Bangladesh. Good move. Not sure why they brought him back into the side. He was still nowhere near reaching any sort of form.

I just found out what has been happening by cricinfo commentary:

21.5 Mahmudullah to Umar Amin, 1 run, OUT, driven to long-off for one. Bizarre scenes here. Not quite in the spirit of the game. He has completed the single, goes back to the other side of the stumps because Mahmud is bowling round the stumps. While doing that, however, his bat is in the air, and Mahmud whips the bails and appeals for the run-out. They go to the third-umpire, and they can't do much once the team appeals. But common sense anybody?

Two over later:

Replays show Mahmud whipped the bails off in routine manner, but Shakib at midwicket noticed the bat was not grounded, and appealed. Mahmud wasn't quite sure what was happening.

Uh, they really need to change the rule. Like Cricinfo said, there was no way that Umar Amin was going to go for the second run there, and he had already grounded his bat.

Holy ████ Afridi, did he just make 10 or so consecutive boundaries? :hpraise:hpraise:hpraise

Man I left when Afridi was on 20 odd to do a bit of work on a project I'm doing and then pop back to see him on 113 off 56. Fantastic!

lol! I hit summary to refresh and up pops, Afridi - Six, Four. :p

Biggy added 2 Minutes and 6 Seconds later...

Aw, now he's out - What an innings though.
