I think they might as well get some practice in with a decent bowling attack in conditions that will be similar to the world cup. They were out of the tournament anyway.

Riiiight, so that we have more brainless cricketers (as if we don't already have an abundance) who average around 25 with the bat, score 6 centuries in 300 odd matches (2 of them against minnows I think) and be considered good enough to captain the national team. No sir, I'd rather Pakistan never have another Afridi again! Waste of a batsman's position really.

That being said, he did play extraordinarily well in this series and although I'm hoping his form continues, having seen most of his 300 matches, I'm pretty sure he'd be useless with the bat again against Australia.

Just checked the score of the PAK BANGLA match, pathetic. So glad I did not watch a second of it. If the pitches remain like this for limited overs cricket then I hope ODIs die out.

Some people like watching bowling, seeing a team put up 400 in 50 overs is worse than AC09 slogging.
