Concerned about the future of Bangladesh cricket. I don't believe they are ever going to be a truely competitive team. The players may have some skill but they have no application and no brains. The reason why Ireland do so well is they are disciplined, hard working and play to the best of their abilities. This is effectively the complete opposite of Bangladesh.

Disagree with that part, they have almost no talent/skill bar something here and there. They should no be a Test team.

Even a side like WI that has been loosing a lot, has a big bunch of talented cricketers. Bangladeshi cricketers on the other hand would not even come close to beating a lot of FC sides.

Hats off to Bangladesh, they are playing big role in dying cricket in ODI. I wanted to quote some lines from Cricinfo

Shesh: "Can someone please stop this match? Bangladesh should be penalized for the making a mockery out of the game."

Silican: "Guess it's time Cricket had some kind of a Mercy rule (in favor of the opposition and fans) to stop play after certain overs, if a team shows no interest in playing for a win."

I knew it, I knew it was SIddions idea to bat out the 50 over, 'forget about the chasing the target, just stay there and bat out 50 over, you cant win any ways.' This kind of ████ is killing the spirit of the team!!

I remember when he 1st came he'd set a target which he called 'the team target'. If it was a series, goal was to score 185 in the 1st match, then 200 in the 2nd, and then 220 on the 3rd match, etc. And if we were chasing he told the guys to forget about the target and he set a target for them. Some kinda loser attitude ...

He is the head coach, or he suppose to be. And he comes out and say, NO. I am the batting coach. He is not good enough to be a head coach! Where is this fool from!? Go homee!!

Ya, he played properly. SR of 85. He isnt Sehwag, but SR of 85 isnt bad in ODI. If it was Imrul in this case, I'd have agreed.


It's not the players fault. It's the coach and the management. Players had to follow the order, and they did. Siddique and Imrul batted the middle over (160+ from 190+). But the order wasn't right. It should only apply if we were batting 1st. Riyad blocking the last over out was HORRIBLE!
