why is haddin and ghilcrist playing in the same match. is Gilly playing as a batsman?

Personally i wouldnt mind Gillespie back in the team instead of kaspro. But that would mean taking out a batsman because tait has to stay and McGrath is definately playing now.

Kaspa just took a wicket. Maybe Aus are trying something with Haddin and Gilly. Gilly Aus opener/batsman, Haddin keeper/7 batter. *I can dream* The real reason giving both time in the middle.
I like the idea though. If Gilly came off we would get quick fire starts and hopefully he stays in long enough to cause more damage. Haddin is no mug with the bat either. Also means we are breeding in our next keeper. :cool:

MacGill shouldn't really be expected to make a case for himself before lunch.

I can never really feel certain of what the online scorecard alone tells me, there could have been five lucky edges through third man early on (though I doubt it). I reckon Gilchrist will try to bring Lee and Tait out in a dual burst though.

That Essex team has some really young players.

Yeah I figured out why cricinfo wont let us, the live scores are hosted on the uk domain, but it automatically tries to link to the aus one, where there is no such score.
