Australia Tour Of India 2012/13

Bhuvneshwar Kumar you beauty!! Finally our seamers get the wickets :p

Took out the openers pretty well there Kumar, but looks like Watto might get stuck in here. Hope Ashwin can take him out here.

"yes sir, yes sir, yes sir, yes sir.... yes sir... yes... sir"

yea ok Sunny, we get it, it's out

In 2012, Ishant Sharma played 5 tests, bowled 161 overs and took...wait for it...7 wickets...at an average of 75.57...:facepalm When is he getting the Bharat Ratna?

What the hell is wrong with the Aussies? No watering even done on the pitch this time :p

After getting Watson out, we knew Hughes was just there for couple more minutes. With Wade injured and plus I dont think him too dangerous, we just need Clarke and Henriques out. Dont know a ---- about Maxwell so will need to see how he does it

One of the fielders appealed for that catch down the legside. Then he realized there was no way in hell Ishant could have taken a wicket.

In a nutshell? Warner has poor footwork and gets his bat angle wrong a lot when he's trying to work it between mid-on and mid-wicket. Remember last Test when he inside edged past the stumps a few times, but no one cared he was lucky as anything because he got 50? Well it caught up to him this time....

Cowan goes LBW again. That's more than a few times he's been trapped in front. Cricinfo tells me 9 out of his 25 dismissals have been LBW - that's about twice the average frequency if I remember. Seems the best way to get him early. Kumar had it skidding in nicely - credit to him.

Watson looked good once more. Had to laugh when Sunny was saying that the ball didn't really keep that low. Yeah Watson loves pulling quick bowlers when it's knee height...bad luck Watto - next time mate. Seems we say that a lot with Watson unfortunately :( Has a knack of looking good but not getting the results. Opposite of Mitch Johnson :p

It was night and day for Hughes once Ashwin came on. Scoring dried up completely. It was either defend or play a cut if it looked even slightly wide. You must have another scoring option vs spin Phil - please find one soon! That was the main difference when Wade walked out - at least he's looking to score off the spinners. Hughes was a dead man walking.

I am surprised Harbhajan and Matthew Wade are playing this match. While Ojha should have been given the nod over Bhajji after average performance from the latter, I read somewhere that Wade had suffered a fracture. If thats true, how is he playing?

Its a minor cheek bone fracture I think.

Come on Wadey, grind out a ton, beware the injured player.
Am tired of people bagging his keeping and talking up Haddin as an option, as though now people look back at Haddin and think he was somehow a good gloveman. Yes, Wade's keeping is pretty bad, but Haddin's keeping was terrible, in one ODI he missed 3 stumpings, and I am not exaggerating, he would on average drop one catch per Test innings in the matches I watched him play. He was no better than Akmal, it's just Australian fans are less passionate and don't jump up and down over dropped catches so much.
And why do people look back at Healy and somehow think he was a better keeper than Gilchrist, I can only remember Gilchrist dropping maybe 2 catches, and maybe missing a stumping. Seems people automatically assume Healy was a better keeper just because he was a crap batsman.

One of the things to like about Jadeja's bowling.Out of nowhere he produces a beauty.Henriques was struggling from the moment he came in.
