Australia tour of India (Feb '17/Mar '17)

Smith was dropped twice, and Marsh and Handscomb once each

Lyon's bowling shows what is to come for him throughout the series. What an innings by Iyer.

That was a proper inning by Iyer to get back into selector's radar. Hopefulley he can continue this form and we can see him soon in the national team.

I think one is entitled to his view. Someway I was expecting this response anyhow but Its the way I saw it off-late. Every country does that for its benefit. Making the pitches which suit their strength and India banks heavily on spinners specially Ashwin and if they are doing it no one can have issues. When a sub-continent team travels outside Asia, they do put some fine grass there and sometimes green tops to take extra advantage and it has happened many times so when a sub-continent one doing it for its benefit, Its fair enough. You guys should chill out a little and don't take the comment out of context. This is not taking credit away from Indian spinners but their pitches are benefiting their skills a bit extra and there is no harm in it as they are playing in home.

Seemed like a flat track for the warmup game. Plus India A only went in with 2 spinners, and 3 medium pacers. Smith and Marsh will still be happy to get amongst the runs for a little confidence boost.

Under 15 hours for the start of the series.

It will definitely NOT be a 0-4 series for Australia and it won't be a cakewalk for India as well. After England's show, I'm skeptical about India's domination.

Let's see how much of it comes true.

Seems to me more of a 2-1 or 2-0 series (for India of course)

The curator has said it will be a fast pitch and the ball will bounce. Expect it to turn from ball one.

I am expecting Hazlewood to do much better than any other Australian bowlers. And Pune might be the best chance to win or atleast draw a match in India , a 3 -0 prediction from my side in this series.

4-0, a clear, a crystal clear whitewash. Yes, be scared Australia, be very scared.

This new, young team will probably do better than 2013, and I wouldn't be surprised if they do well on this tour. The young guys Hanscomb and Renshaw will be exiting to watch on these pitches. I would still not underestimate them. I think bowling to the Indian batsmen will be hard, considering Lyon is not really good in these conditions but O'Keefe will enjoy bowling on these tracks.
