Bangladesh v India - 2 Test Matches, January 2010

Because he thinks he needs more than 400 in the bank to be sure of beating the Tigers ?

Smell that ? Thats respect.

It might backfire too, if the fog and so on are bad tomorrow

Maybe he is waiting for 9th wicket to fall? He won't let Bangladesh prove him wrong. Wait India declared at 413 for 8. Bangladesh need 414 to win.

Declaration at last. 415 to get, 10 wickets to get in roughly 4 sessions minus fog and bad light.

Could be respect or could be the fact that except for zaheer, everyone
in the bowling dept is a liability.

Jkartik,

The pitch is also doing nothing, although the fog and so on may juice it up tomorrow morning.

if there is enough fog to juice up this wicket, then i fear there wont be much time for india to bowl them out.

Thats what happens when you bat till your lead is over 400.

0.3
Khan to Tamim Iqbal, 2 runs, Zaheer drifts on to the pads from over the wicket, Tamim leans across and pushes wide of the fielder at mid-on
0.4
Khan to Tamim Iqbal, FOUR, full ball on off stump, Tamim unfurls the drive and finds the gap at cover for the innings' first boundary

and this is why we needed 400+.

No.*You* need 10 wickets. *We* need 415 runs ;)

And theres one of your ten..

WE should have opened with Ishant. Sree was struggling for rhythm in the first innings which showed in the number of no balls he bowled.

both are similar bowlers. on their day, they can dismantle any opposition...
otherwise, get clobbered all over.

sreesanth is clearly out of sorts here!:mad:

There's been some good bowling in this game, and some good batting, and some very very crap fielding.

And by both sides.
