The spin video gave me an idea. How about different pitches in nets? Maybe for the demo the astro pitch can stay the same but we can have the option of differing pitch effects.
In game it would be good to have differing pitch types in the nets particularly if outdoor nets becomes a playable feature rather than just a graphic like at Bradman Oval.
Adding to this you could have different facilities at the different grounds. Major teams would have both indoor and outdoor facilities with various pitch types etc, whereas a club may only have one net or have to practice on the square/outfield.
In career, your nets practice can take place at your club and/or your opponents if away.
Pitches should at least represent the major characteristics of the region they reside in. So what's regarded as a Bunsen in England, may be normal to India for instance.
That would be quite useful as you can hit the nets and nail the line & length you need to bowl on various pitches depending on the bounce and movement you get. Also, in the game you should have the ability to select the player you want in the 'Nets' or 'Match Practice' so you can practice with an actual player you will use in matches and not some random generic player as it is in DBC 14.
