CSK is entering this IPL with most of their Indian players having performed to flying colors for India in the recently concluded test series vs Australia. Murali Vijay, R Ashwin, R Jadeja and MS Dhoni all four of them have performed extraordinarily well for India in the recent series, and these four are very high impact players for Chennai in IPL cricket. If they can take their top form into this IPL, CSK will be super hard to beat.

I hope this time, CSK does not scrape through to the semis and instead try to bulldooze their way to the semis.

Expected this. It was easy to shift the location of home games for other teams, but when time came to shift CSK's home games, this Srinivasan guy doesn't want to do it. He can go down to any extent to exploit his powers and help CSK year after year. Corruption at it's very best!

This will make CSK have three seamers (Morkel/Bravo, Hilfy and Nannes), three spinners (Jadeja, Ashwin, Aparajith). And with Aparajith being an allrounder, we can bat till No.9.

It came down to Dananjaya or Aparajith for me and I went with Dananjaya simply because of his performances at the T20 World Cup(the reason why we've bought him) last year, but your line-up would make sense, I just can't see us doing away with our old formula of lots of all-rounders(which my side does) in the XI.
