IPL 2013 news : Muttiah Muralitharan dismayed with IPL ruling on Sri Lankan players in Chennai | Cricket News | Indian Premier League | ESPN Cricinfo
I have and thus I can see why people are getting emotional about this, but I just don't think it's "right" to ban the innocent players for it. What exactly have the players done to deserve this? I mean why are we (the public) looking at these players for something that they're not?

It would make sense if say Sangakkara was this hated SL'n figure (in Tamil Nadu) for supporting the genocide or something silly, but that's not even the case, none of these players have done anything in anyway to support what's happened in SL.
My stance has changed drastically now about politics and sport not going together. When the sport happens to be followed with religious fashion by an overwhelming amount of general public, it ceases to be just a sport and it becomes a tool for politics.
Have you seen the videos of the "war killing fields" in Sri Lanka where they have indulged in genocide against Tamil people? It was disgusting to say the least.... To me, Sri Lankan players should not play any sport in India until Sri Lankan government is brought to justice.
