Norwich drew 1-1 with Blackpool. I was there, saw what must be the miss of the season from Arturo Lupoli (wide, from 5 yards with an open goal and no marker) and after we equalised it was all us. A special mention to the Blackpool goalkeeper - timewasting prat.

A draw against Derby, which is a good result, although according to the guys in the Sky studio we could have been 4-0 up at HT. Nicky Maynard up and running, this time scoring a sitter rather than wasting them. Another special mention to a keeper, this time for a good reason unlike Lee's. Chris Weale in after Basso's injury, awesome save diving full stretch backwards to save us from defeat!

It was for a good reason. Their goalkeeper provoked a punch up! He should have been booked!

Great start for the super Sky Blues. 100% Record in League and Cup so far (Coventry 2-0 Norwich, Coventry 3-1 Aldershot, Barnsley 1-2 Coventry)! Top of the league and ready for automatic promotion! Only 44 games left!

PS: Coventry City vs Newcastle United : Carling Cup 2nd Rd : Wednesday 25th August : SkySports 1 (& HD 1 ;) )

Wednesday 27th August. ;)

This season I am taking defeat with dignity. Norwich never win their first game and they never beat Coventry away so anything else is a bonus. :)

The end of the game, Norwich losing 0-2 to Coventry. Never mind. By all accounts Coventry were poor, Norwich were the better team. 45 games to go. :)

We weren't that bad, Norwich were just as poor tbh. They couldn't string more than 2 passes together and I think we just looked bad because we were the more physical side. Also, Norwich weren't helped by Roeder who made some ridiculous substitutions (eg bring Lupoli off when he was Norwich's only threatening player). Jay Tabb was in form and Norwich couldn't deal with him and resorted synical fouling a number of times, and Norwich only had a couple of chances which they didn't take. But at the end of the day, its the result that matters.

Norwich want Hasselbaink??? NOOOOO!!! Roeder you buffoon! Skater, get rid of your pillock of a manager!

He's a good manager. The West Ham fans were crap to him, they made him seriously ill. We'd be in League One now if it wasn't for him.

We need a tall striker, though, we don't really want Hasselbaink...

Edit: Chris Gayle

Who is it?

And, of course Stoke would have a player that can do that, that's their style.
