i think we all do mate, hope for patch 3/4 but to be honest don't reckon BA will do this until DB15 as they wont want to hurt PC sales, bummer though as i have a crap PC!

If we were worried about sales impact then we wouldn't allow mods at all - we have always supported mods because I think that games should not just rely on roster changes to cause purchase, that leads to fatigue.

no offence intended Ross, i guess im guilty of being jealous of all the guys getting the PC version and due to my PC being designed in the stone age i wont be able to enjoy the mods that will surely follow, for me it makes the game even more authentic, so please BA try and patch the console versions

I didn't take offence at all, just wanted to let you know that we'll do what we can to support mods on console if we are allowed too.

I think that the feature most in need of modding is career mode, particularly giving it the ability to have teams that change and regenerate over time, different countries and perhaps even different tiers.

As a simple, first-order approach, you could just have a patch that every year changes things up:

1) Retires old blokes
2) Put some high-scoring state players into the international team

The next level would be to have something that changes the team game by game, based on form.

I really hope they allow us to change the textures of stadium and whatnot. I just can't stand playing in those dull low resolution textures of stadium without bearing the temptations to modify it.

If they allow us to change the lineups in career mode like we can do that in casual matches then that also is perfect. Atleast for me.
I can't even change the jerseys of teams. Seeing England team wearing white jersey in ODI really irritates me.

It needs to be rectified before starting career..After it is started no changes can be made...So my suggestion start a new career after Patch#2 is released..

Anyone worked out how it works and got one to share?

Hey Ross, I haven't installed patch 1 so do I have to install patch 1 first before installing patch 2 or I can directly install patch2?
