England in Sri Lanka

It is up to you to determine what type of clothing you should buy from wholesalers. clothing hip hop urban wholesale

What has gotten into you Tom?

I'd be feeling pretty screwed over as an England supporter.

Had allot of umpiring decisions which should've gone England's way; gone England's way then they would've won the Indian series or atleast drawn it. I reckon they deserved to have drawn the 1st Test in Kandy and England should be about 2/250+ at the moment.

If it were India that had this bad luck in the past year, they'd be rioting and burning so much stuff it's not funny.

Sorry to all the Indians offended in the post.

I dunno but he's banned. I reckon his account has been hacked personally.

If Hatton hadn't have lost then I wouldn't have been bothered bu this slightly dodgy umpiring, but there just seems to be a lot going against our sportsmen right now!

Ah well, Prior and Collingwood hundreds to come followed by a returning 10'fer for Harmison, an innings victory and a partridge in a pear-tree.

I guess the best people that would know would be the people at Simply Cricket. Because he isn't an Admin there.

That thread he posted was gross.

But yeah, Tom wouldn't do that. I reckon it has been hacked.

Oh noes the umpires are rushing 0ur spl0iter!!

Bopara get's a duck...he shouldn't of been playing, he doesn't look like he'll make a big score.

Shouldnt be playing ? scored a double hundred in FC cricket last season, and had a very very good season. Definetly deserves to play, no-one in better form, in terms of realistic options for the future anyway. He will make a score eventually, just need to have faith in the lad.

Crap decision again to give Cook out, was blatently going miles down leg. Dont rate Harper as an umpire, the ball to get Ravi was brilliant though, the late swing was what made the difference. I'm confident that England can get to 400, and take some early wickets tommorow.

People see Bopara as a bit part player, in the fold of Clarke, Giles, etc. Though that ball would've got most people out first ball.

We were the better side today, yet the scorecard is probably against us. Thanks to the umpires, Cook and KP had awful decisions, the Cook one inparticular, just never looked out, let alone the fact it pitched outside leg stump and was missing his stumps by about 3/4 inches. The rules need to be changed so the umpires can call for the 3rd umpire in close to ground catches, because at the moment the umpires are guessing. There is no way you can tell from 30 yards the difference between touching the ground and a centimetre or two above it. It's hard on not only the batsman, also the fans and the umpires.

That's the point, the rule is in place to allow them to call for the 3rd umpire, they just decided against it. Pietersen's been very very unlucky in this series so far, the ball he got from Fernando last innings was a horrible ball to get. He'll come good and hit a hundred at one point in the series though, be it 2nd innings or 3rd test. The umpires have cost us a good looking scorecard today.

I don't see Bopara as a bit part player, remembering he's only 22 I would say he's one of the most talented young batsmen in the country. Shocking umpiring all round today but I still say we're in the stronger position, batting first is massive on these pitches and if we can get past 350 today then they really are going to have to rely upon Sangakarra.

They can only go to 3rd umpire if their view wasn't clear.

Let's face it it, their view is always impeded for those sorts of catches anyway.

I think Sri Lanka are in the better position due to the bad decisions. Daryl Harper is the worst umpire in the world I think and I'm not just saying that because of today. I've seen him make many mistakes on previous occasions and in my opinion he deserves the sack.

Collingwood and Prior will have dig England out but the good news is that they look in good form and if they can get England to 400, that will some pressure on the Sri Lankan batsmen. Sri Lankas openers are under pressure anyway so there could be some scoreboard pressure if England can get enough.

Colly did look good and Prior is in good nick. Broad can bat too, 350 minimum, ideal of 400.

Bit of a painful day today, with Cook and Pietersen's dismissals as well as Vaughan middling one into short leg pretty much. I'm intrigued to see who will take the new ball for us.

Rubbish start from us today, Broad gone too, anything past 300 i'll take now.

well, Sidebum was't out it hit his shoulder but it went to the thrid umpite for it carrying and they gave it not out. Well that is weird but its about time we had some luck, shame it was Sidebottom and Not Pieterson because then we could have added another 100 instead of 30 runs at best. Good recovery from England now lets get to 350 and anything from there is a bonus

How long can these two go on for? England would need 400 to put the Sri Lankans under pressure but good work from Prior and Sidebottom this morning.
