This series might end up like the India one, thanks to England's gutsy fightback. We need to demonstrate the same level of commitment in all the games.

It's chucking it down in Colombo for the fourth and fifth ODI's, which begs the question why are we playing cricket in the rainy season?

Also Sri Lanka have won the toss...no prizes for guessing what they did. 2-1 and the series could be over.

If this one isn't rained off. Will the weather be the same in the tests? I hope not, i don't mind having some ODI's ruined but the tests i actually like!

Kudos to Kumar Sangakarra. He nicked it, no-one appealed and he just walked, cracking sportsmanship. England in control, need a few more wickets though. The rain delays are really helping England atm though.

more awesome bowling from swann..

3-12 off 4 overs..

Sri lanka in a real corner now at 106-7

typical england.. we have Sri lanka 118-8..and we let them off the hook..

we should have had them out for 130-140.. now they're heading for 160-170.

to be honest we were coasting until shah lost his head..

now we are in trouble but we only have to bat out the overs..

BTW these pitches and lighting conidtions are a disaster for 1-day cricket..
