FOOTBALL Football Manager Discussion

And also the guy who looks to wear a suit when he plays big games when he is managing his club and do mock interviews...He might want more in depth

Do you post on The Dugout? :p

A guy said that when he got into a Cup final he would go have a shower, do a press conference in the shower. He would then get out and go to the computer, in his best suit, and play the match. He would then have a shower after, and have an after press conference. He'd then wash his suit. :D

Something like that.

That's subjective - while you prefer a simple game which isn't realistic but is fun to play, I would prefer a more realistic and complicated approach.
Thats not what he said. He actually said he wanted the game to be as realistic as possible, as long as it doesn't affect the fun level. I agree with Dan, FM isn't meant to be over complicated, it's meant to be relatively straightforward to get to grips with (by this I dont mean results, I mean sorting out how things are done).

I would love the option for both complicated settings and simple settings. It's not going to happen but that would be the ideal game. Both would be enjoyable in my eyes, and like I say, it's a matter of opinion.

This is one moment where Fifa Manager is better then cos you can block player stats and not be able to see them so you do have to rely on things like scouts and that.

Not that I know of..I'm sure there should be some coming out soon though? Have searched and found a few updates from the january transfer window so they do do them.

Because I've got 06 and it was a good game. If there was updates for them I would be tempted to see if there are any for 06.

3D Match Engine. Fm 09 is officially going to be crap. The Ai's going to be shocking, with all the focus on the new Match Engine. Will probably wait until the first official Patch is releaed tbh. It's going to be more of a shambles than the Boxed Version of FM 08.
