You should have seen that over! Gibbs was going crazy! Was magnificent to watch. The whole team jumped up when he got the last one. It was brilliant strokeplay.

@irrotev Mate I think we can do pretty well against the big guns. We have the batting and bowling attack. We will just have to wait till 23 March I think it is Aus vs. SA. Kallis is looking in brilliant form and Gibbs.

Its 24th March, btw.
Yeah, that over was awesome! Big hitting, wow. I didn't think that he had to donate 1mil, or else Afridi/Ganguly/Jaya/ would have done it a looong time ago....jk :p It was an awesome over.
We're actually thinking of going to the Aus v SA game, only transportation is the issue. Does anyone know of any ferries that go from Trinidad (Port-of-Spain) to St. Kitts? And how long does it take?

You could be one lucky man :(

If Ponting lives up to his expectations, then it could be quite a high scoring match. Wonder if Tait will still be considered.

You defiitely want to get to SA v Aus, that is going to be a ripper is their first matches are anything to go by.
Tait will definitely play as they won't go with a fast medium attack with no real quickster to take the wickets during the middle overs.

Aussies won the toss, elected to bat and have made a pretty cautious start but with Gilly hitting a few fours and looking in good touch a big score for the Aussies and a long day in the field for The Dutch could be on the cards :D

well Haydos out to de Leede going for it which has slowed the RR a little but with Punter hitting 4's and Gilly reaching 50 now it could be a big partnership between the two

EDIT: Gilly Out to de Leede, then Ponting to ten Doeschate in quick session hopefully no more Minnows Beating top placed teams

Minnow power, heck yes.

Well in the last WC,the only competition the Aussies ever faced came from the minnows.
Kenya in the Super Six
Holland in the Group.

Geez panicing so early when we still have Hodge and Clarke to smash us to 358. Hodge finally get's a 100 and he hit 7 6s, now that is the hitting power I knew he had. Clarke made a 93 batting at 4.

Bracken has a taken a bit of stick to go with his 2 wickets, Tait got one early as well.

Very disappointed with the belief some people had with Clarke and Hodge. Both definitely have it in them to go on, just a shame that Clarke couldn't get the full ton.

Realistically, there is no reason to rush Symonds back, I'm sure selectors would still be unsure with who to replace.

I think they've made it pretty obvious that'll be Watson sure he didn't really get much of a bat in this match but he wasn't even thought of to have a bowl which is quite strange considering he's an All-Rounder & hasn't bowled all tournament as they have no need for another Fast-Medium bowler but they do need Symonds offies as they will be useful on the tracks they're playing on

Another belting by Australia.

1 thing though, Netherlands scored at a decent clip with the bat. They couldn't handle Hogg though.

lol, people considering us losing when we end up wining by 220 runs...
That's why it's important to rememeber that anyone who accuses you of bias is just biased to someone else.
