Australia definitely going to struggle now. We lose it all right before the WC.

Its totally Luck is not with us :(

yo best take brett lee out of that ozzie squad, he is crocked up and will miss it, bad news for ozzies good news for everyone else. in fact its bad, i like all the top player to be fit for big events.

The term 'fit' in that sentence is debatable. He's got a dodgy back, Cortisone reduces the inflammation, question is will it be enough? Didn't do much for Freddie.

I felt a sadness when i heard that Clark was added and Hilf missed out, but i was expecting it.
I would regard Bracken as a strike bowler, you dont have to be blisteringly quick to be regarded as a "striker". But as mentioned he needs to re-discover that CC form (ie that Chris Gayle delivery  )
I like Bracken, I see a lot of McGrath in him, not style wise but his effectiveness is similar. He is a good wicket taker and very economical.

On the Lee front....

I think he might not play another World Cup game.

That would be a sad way to go for Lee if he was never to play in a WC again. I not a big Tait fan, he is too erractic. Lee used to be like him but now he has matured into a better bowler and bowls a better line and length.

Well right now Tait is all we got in the quick department, Bird could be quick but his action will need sorting. Tait won't be bowling line and length in this lifetime as he said he would retire before that would happen.

Yea I heard about that, had a number of other fans very amazed.

Gilly won't be taking that 3 weeks off after all, he's going to be there for the whole WC.

The injury-hit Australian squad received a boost after Adam Gilchrist made himself available for the entire World Cup following the birth of his third child. Gilchrist is expected to arrive in West Indies ahead of his team's opening World Cup warm-up game against Zimbabwe on March 6.

Currently, Tait bowls at 150kph+, will the Scotland and Dutch batsman (except the best ones) be able to handle him?

Won't be a problem when they pitch way wide of off-stump or half a mile down leg. ;)
