Group C - Canada, England, Kenya, New Zealand

yup i'm going to try not to post 1 negative comment about England for the rest of the world cup now! Although that may be a bit difficult when we're 20-7 against Kenya :p

Fox: "20-7? Bah thats nothing, Ireland beat Pakistan, and you know Freddie will hit a hundred!!" (2 wickets fall, Freddie goes out hit-wicket) "20-9 against Kenya? Bah, thats nothing, you know Monty will get us a hundred..." :p

I think we'll beat Kenya, England just have to go into the game in a positive frame of mind and play well.

This is what I mean. Why should one be more important? Do you think Test Matches are more important because England are better at them?

Try telling me realistically why ODI's are not important, as I think a lot of people disagree with that.

I know one thing...I'm getting a bit bored of Cricket atm (even in a WC) I need Test cricket.

Kenya are a good team, they may not be the best but they are above average in my opinion. However England should beat them reletavely easily

I just watched an interview between Andrew Flintoff and Jonathan Agnew on the BBC website. I'm now pretty certain we will beat Kenya in our next match. The way Flintoff was speaking was great to hear, because he now thinks he has a point to prove.

He has always played very well when he has a point to prove. Think about the Ashes 2005, where he first showed himself as a world-class player, and not just a fat kad who hit a quick 35 every now and again. In India when he was captaining the most ridiculously inexperienced England team, wanting to prove to everyone that they could level the series.

Now he has a massive point to prove, and I can see him being the star of the next match.

I hope your right Tom, or this post could come back to haunt you. :p

Watch Golf or Football then.... :p

Golf?

It's like Boycs and Athers batting together on a batting wonder in the 40 degree desert heat of India.

New Zealand are 1 down already! Thats not really the best thing for England but I guess we'd just have to beat Kenya by about 400 runs :p

Same here, i'd love to watch England in the Test arena right about now. Furthermore, I want the English County season to start!

And England will beat Kenya because Flintoff actually wants to play properly.

well everyone wants the county season to start so we can see the greatest team in the world, Leicestershire playing :p

If Freddie goes back to the 2005 mode then we might win the world cup, wait i have to be positive,we will win the world cup!

Upon seeing your sig, Joe.

"Nixon on a good day, Nicks'em on a bad day"

The form of Nixon in the two games has been one of the better positives to come out so far. I wonder if Fletch still believes JD to be our No.1 spinner? I still can't believe he really said that.
