Group F: Ireland, Pakistan, NZ, SL

This is not good for Pakistan. On Friday and Saturday they will have to face New Zealand and Sri Lanka.

A lot of New Zealand players are getting injured. If they're smart they immediately check them. Maybe they can replace them.

i think IND & SA have been extremely unlucky to end up in group E.
i can see that group f has a very good team in SL,a good team in PAK, an average team in IRE and a poor team in NZ.
so,expect nothing but loads and loads of anti climax in this group.

i wont change my logo until NZ starts doing well and i don't think that will happen.

You're a joke, why are you so against NZ?

We do well basically every tournament we compete in by reaching the semi's as far back as I remember, we've got a young exciting middle order coming up but you post absolute rubbish saying Ireland are average and NZ are poor.

I hope you never change you're logo because you can't claim to be a NZ fan.

You?re a character, that?s for sure.

I think the only time you guys lose in the Semis are against Pakistan :p

(1992 WC, 1999 WC, 2007 T20 WC)

But since we're in the same group, it doesn't look like you guys will face us in the semis - change of luck for you guys prehaps? :p

If Abdul Razzaq comes back it would strengthen Pakistan and give us more chance in this group.

The form of SL so far suggest NZ and Pakistan will be fighting for the other spot. With NZ's injuries Pakistan should pip them unless Bond comes back in time for their match.

NZ and SL seems to the fav in this group, everybody will try to win against Ireland and will try to improve their NRR

We really don?t know yet, apparently there is still paper work to sort out but then how did Abdul Razzaq get into Pakistan?s 20/20 team.

Everything with Razzaq was clear, he had given NOC to the Pakistan Board from ICL...so I guess that helped him get in.

I think Razzaq produced a NOC before that cut off day of May 31st, so he was always cleared to play. Prehaps Bond didn't do that.

The thing about Bond is, how match-fit is he? Has he been playing in any competitive games as of late?

It seems NZ have sent a batter for Ryder so only speculation on Bond.

With Razzaq, Pakistan have a lot more fire power in that middle to lower order. If they can get their openers sorted they could cause problems for the more favoured teams.

Yeah considering NZ seem to have fitness issues they're going to be the underdogs. Oh well they seem to play their best cricket with that tag. Ireland, as much as i want them to go through, have a miniscule chance of getting to the semis. Out of interest who's the replacement. Chance of that Marshall guy from ICL...

It's Aaron Redmond

He was the highest scorer in this years domestic 20/20 cup. And Hamish Marshall will not play for New Zealand again, he is a Kolpak player over in England.
