ICCCT2006: Qualifying Round

I would give Bangladesh a 50% chance of going through.
West Indies-their middle order problems continue. So,if the Banglas get out Gayle and Lara early, they just have a chance of slipping one in.

I disagree. Chanderpaul or Sarwan could just as easily score a match winning hundred, after all Sarwan does have the 7th highest ODI average. I give Bangladesh credit enough to maybe get two cheap early wickets off them, but not all four. Even then, we're talking about a somewhat less than probable sequence of events.

I give Bangladesh a 25% chance.

Go BANGLA!!! Whooo!!!

C'mon, you can take on Lanka :)
Just need Ashraful, Mortaza, Aftab, Hasan and Rafique to fire, and boom, we're in...

Like you won't believe :)
Almost threw a party, just settled to cheering incessantly...

Even I was cheering for Bangla then, and I don't even care. I think most people who like cricket, maybe even some Aussies, wanted Bangladesh to win just once.

Jayasuria seems to be struggling at the moment. Just 1 run off of 12 balls.

yup there is some grass on the pitch ..... so some seam movement and some extra bounce ... similar thing happened in my story ;) :D

Shameless plug! ;)

Mortaza seems to be bowling well so far. Gave up 7 runs from 3 over.

preety decent start by Lankans ....i get a feeling that they are going to score 320-330

The way Rasel is bowling 350 seems likely. They need to get Jayasuria early on before he goes on a rampage.

Gah! Morataza is bowling so good here, he deserves a wicket.

Good to see things under way. Sri Lanka are off to a pretty good start. Now Sangakara and Tharanga need to build a nice partnership so there are wickets in hand at the end.

Am I the only one watching this match? Anyway, Bangalis need to control their extras and keep taking wickets. That way they'll at least keep SRL down under 300.

I don't think Bangladesh are good enough to beat Sri Lanka because they're fairly strong and established, but when the West Indies are slightly out of form they can be candidates for an upset.

If Bangladesh can beat Australia then by all means they should be able to beat Sri Lanka.

Sri Lankans are batting well, going along at a steady rate. Tharanga is batting well.

That match last year was a once in a blue moon experience.
