India in England/Ireland/Scotland

Cook is batting really slow there. But the good thing is that they haven't lost wickets. Prior is showing some positive intent.

They haven't even faced 4 overs yet! Give him a chance to get in before he throws his wicket away.

Interesting decision from India. Looks like the only reason we're fielding first is we don't want to be fielding when the temperature drops down lower still.

Typical slow start from england. Expect us to reach 20-25 by the end of the first 10 overs.

why do we score slower in ODI's than we do in tests ??

another stunning usage of power-plays.. NOT !

About bloody time Prior.

We're doing what we always do by letting bowlers settle in rather than unsettle them. Come on England!!

First ten overs, 2 fours and 1 six. The ball isnt moving, the deck is good, whats wrong with England. Morons!

Oh great, now we get Bell. 2 ultra defensive batsmen, great thinking England!

england really arent making hay of the conditions, and they really should be because the ball is doing absolutely zilch.

I think the benefit of these guys is that they can preserve their wickets for some time and the hitters can come. Unless they go out within the next overs.

You're ignoring the bowling, which has been very straight, it's not as though we've missed out on 4/5 wide balls that should've been more. Of course a little more intent wouldn't go a miss, but Cook wasn't rotating the strike enough. Prior did okay for his 19, but it'd help if the other batsman had some fluidity. Cook isn't cut up for it. Shah should so be in the side at 3 and Bell/Strauss opening.

22 from 39 for Cook, 29 dot balls! Big outfield, a bit slow though. I think 270+ is now our target. We have got a strong middle order imo, KP, Colly, Flintoff and Bopara. Credit to India though, they have bowled very straight, England bowlers take note.
