Yes,2-2 is possible,and its relly funny series of just 4 matches,no tests,no T20.

However, we must note that we are missing four of our best ODI players in Tendulkar, Raina, Sehwag and Zaheer.

Zaheer isn't in any form either. At this time I would take Irfan over Zaheer.

Irfan should have at least made it over Ishant Sharma in this tour but I guess they wanted to give Ishant another chance.

Three changes. Drop Rohit and bring in Badrinath. Drop Jadeja and bring in Nayar. Drop Nehra and bring in Ojha and strengthen our spin department. Wickets here in WI are very slow and help spinners more. Having two specialist spinners and Yusuf will help us. Also Nayar can be called for the fifth bowler's duties. Gambhir deserves a few more chances (I initially thought of replacing him with Vijay) although Gambhir should be kept on his toes.

Past few matches shows how much India miss Sehwag and Sachin at the top of the order. Kiwis wer ealso bowling bouncers to Indian team but those balls were being dispatched for 4s and 6s by these two. In the end, it all comes down to experience and array of shots available. I dont think Rohit Sharmais good at cutting the ball square of the wickets. He is getting out hooking the ball from way outside offstump which Sachin or Sehwag would have play towards third man or even over the keeper(Sachin only). Gautam hs been picking the ball late thus is top edging the pull shots. I bet sachin would be thinking how Shitee current indian openers are while playing short balls. Its not a problem which cannot be solved. Even Sehwag had problems with short balls, but he has impoved himself and added hook and pull shots. I remember the Tim Southees first over in new sealand to sehawag where he tried to target sehwags ribs but sehwag got better of him by dispatching those two balls for 2 6s. So if a free flowing player like sehwag can change his game they why cant Gambhir and Sharma ??
As far a s Raina's short pitch problem is concerned, its looks like he is just mentally tired . Coz he is a very good hooker and cutter of the ball . This short absense from team would do wonders for him and i believe he would be back with a bang. I remember his entry in Indian ODI team after IPL 2008. He scored two back to back hundreds and one of those hundred came of 68 balls.

Whats with Dhoni's obsession with keeping Jadeja in place of Nayar and keeping Ojha out where all the 3 seamers are failed in 1st game.

P.S: Though result of this series shouldnt worry india as this is more or less india's reserve Team. Sachin,Sehwag,Raina,Zaheer,Irfan are not playing ... So for champions Trophy we may have this lineup which is very very strong
