India tour of South Africa

Great win for SA!

Really dont know how the IPL rich Indian team still playing T20 in a style of 10 yrs ago!

Also credits goes to the wet condition due to persistent slight dizzle in the Indian innings.

Very good win by SA. Klassen played a class innings and just took the game away from India. Even in the ODIs, he seemed liked a technically sound batsman who is capable of batting in the middle order. Just the player who can fit in at #5. SA just played very well, a poor day for Unadkat and Chahal.
If Chahal was leaking runs, how come Raina didn't come in and bowl a few overs. He is a handy bowler capable of breaking partnerships. Very bad tactics from Kohli while under pressure.

Their overall approach, lead by the captain!

Again, a generic statement without any details. When India batted, they were pretty attacking even though they were losing wickets at untimely intervals. Most of the batsmen who scored decent runs, kept very healthy strike rates. That's definitely not a '10 yrs old' style. Also though Kohli kept persisting with Chahal despite leaking mountain of runs, he was trying to attack with the legspinner and backed the leggie's attacking instincts. That's surely a modern day gameplay. It did not work today, but nothing in it to call "old fashioned of 10 yrs back"

I was having a discussion about Kohli vs Dhoni the captain. There was a time, Miller and Duminy were batting together and the game was not over. Where was Suresh Raina? Also, he can bowl darts and I think he definitely could have induced something from Klaassen. Yesterday, was the first time Kohli had a slightly inexperienced attack and he got stripped butt naked. So, he can amass his stats as much as he likes, he's not a finger nail of MSD and certainly nowhere near Ganguly.

Two other things- FFS, someone tell Shitstri that Kohli is your no.3. Raina is the second choice number 3 and he has more versatile a game to bat lower. If Dhoni isn't going to play the 2020 world cup then I don't see the point of him playing these games. Pandey is the perfect bloke to bat 4. Lastly, if you're going to play only one wristie then that has to be Kuldeep.

Poor day for Unadkat and Chahal.

Still, Chahal was okayish. It was just too good batting from Klaasen. Bhuvi was good also was Thakur. Raina should have been given a try.

He was poor this match, but let's face it, everybody has a bad day. Also, T20 is a game where it doesn't matter if you lose 3 quick wickets, you can still win a game. Even though India lost, it's a relief to see SA finally competing and now we have a good match on our hands for the final T20.

Where was Axar Patel?
KXI retained him, in current squad..But why he is not playing.
Aweful day for Yuzi Chahal, but in my view..
Chahal need some rest.

Its good to have a few awful days as well. Just to keep you grounded. Better to have such days in inconsequential games than on the big stage. Failures make you stronger if you have the right attitude

Which is why I get super nervous when we have an unbeaten run in a tournament going into the knockout stage. A bad day is always around the corner

Plus we got a lot more positives (Pandey and Dhoni) from this loss than we got from most of our victories on this tour
