India tour of South Africa

Pitch expected to play low and slow ... Miller to open the batting for RSA. SA won the toss and elected to bowl first.. hopefully they change their strategy of bowling short deliveries to IND ... may the best team on the day win :cheers

Virat is not playing today's match

Rohit is captain in today's match

India in the third match of a bilateral T20I series:
Beat Aus by seven wkts, SCG, 2016
Beat SL by nine wkts, Vizag, 2016 - Decider
Beat Zim by three runs, Harare, 2016 - Decider
Beat Eng by 75 runs, Bengaluru, 2017 - Decider
Beat NZ by six runs, Trivandrum, 2017 - Decider
Beat SL by five wkts, Mumbai WS, 2017

This is a good opportunity to test India's middle order without captain Kohli playing along side them. That too in a decider it is ideal for Pandey, Raina and Karthik to prove that they deserve chances to stay in the limited overs squads.

Nice to finally see Axar in the playing 11.

A good start, as usual. But will our lower order do the job after getting a few balls only?

With that 43, Raina looks perfect to bat lower down the order at six. Very aggressive innings by him.

Very well done Raina! Played a real positive knock today. Going by the way he's batted so far in these 3 T20 games, it's fair to say that he has made a very satisfying comeback and truly deserves to be part of India's middle and lower middle order as we prepare for the WC. Having Raina's positivity along with Pandya's big hitting skills will majorly boost India's lower middle order in ODI. And Raina is almost as experienced as MS Dhoni and bowls useful off spin and his fielding prowess is legendary by now.

I think India might have found their answer to the middle order issues with this T20 series and need to build on it during the SL tri-series and subsequent ODI series.

With pitch playing low & slow surprised that we are playing just one SPINNER.
And that Shamsi looks horribly unfit at this level already dropped 2 catches out of which one was a dolly.

OK stuff from India in the end! Could've got atleast 10 runs more. Pandya batted in a very 'unlike Pandya' manner. The numbers don't tell how ordinarily he batted. It was as if he was asked to curb his natural style of batting. That one six he got was a poor ball.

Surprising that we are playing only one spinner and also dropped a bowler who can bowl good slower 'taking the pace off' deliveries (Jaydev Unadkat). Hope Raina gets his full quota of 4 overs today along with Axar Patel.

Raina is a very smart bowler. If he was used last match who knows things or outcome would have been different. 11 overs 57/2 SaF are not doing themselves any favor. Bowlers are really bowling well. Pandya 3 overs 17/0 is a some good tight bowling. He might have not taken wicket but he has bowled well to build pressure to get wicket at the other end.[DOUBLEPOST=1519497421][/DOUBLEPOST]I just hope that Klassen drop does not cost us :( 2 sixes here back to back by Duminy.
