India tour of South Africa

Anyone hearing the convo between Pandya and Bhuvneshwar Kumar in Hindi? The former is almost premeditating telling Bhuvi what the bowler is gonna bowl for instance the ball he pulled Morkel said that it will a short one when the bowler was taking the strides.
(In Hindi - Chota dalega abhi woh , he will bowl short )

50 runs partnership between Bhuvi and Pandya

but Bhuvi makes only 2 runs in that partnership

Well played Pandya. Although I do not agree with playing a batsman short here, this guy has big match temperament unlike Rohit Sharma or Dhawan. Be it the CT final or this game, he has shown that he can handle top quality international cricket. This is something Im not convinced with Sharma who could be a bilateral series legend in ODIs but has done nothing of note in big games or ODIs.

Nice comeback from India > 97/7 > 190/7
Steyn off once again with an injury to his heal...

This is turning out to a great test match so far the innings of Pandya and his partnership alongside Bhuvi has just made it more interesting. Definitely advantage South Africa with a lead of 77 with India to bat 4th on this track.

What a poor effort that was from Shami. You have to take those chances especially after he showed that he had it under cover.

Unfortunately our captain doesn't have big match temperament. It's a shame. As a captain you've got to lead your team from the front and back up all your pre-match crap you talk about.[DOUBLEPOST=1515250599][/DOUBLEPOST]

We'll probably be spending the next two days in the field scrambling for the ball, and then get rolled over at the end of day 4.

Bumrah opening the bowling, really? Kohli is over-compensating for the bad selection. Bumrah is doing his bit to show what an atrocious choice it was to pick him. Bowling the defensive T20 line with the new ball and hqrdly threatened the edge. SA have seen through any threat they had of losing the advantage.

That is the reason I dont rate Bumrah over Bhuvi or Hasan Ali, even though Bumrah has performed so well in LO. I dont see him bowling lines which can take wickets. He just bowls balls which are handy if batsmen try to hit him out of the park. If they see him out, he is hardly threatening. In Tests, that line is useless.

Well played Hardik Pandya! Credit where its due. I frankly did not see that coming from him. Gave India respect and the chance to keep fighting in the game.

Oh ya! What a spell! I have seen biased, but this one takes the cake. Rabada and Morkel.. what test wickets. He did what he does best. Take inconsequential wickets and boost his stats with zero contribution to the cause. Heck, even Maharaj took a liking to him.

Ashwin had no role to play. He neither did badly, nor well. But, please yourself.

Just to add- I will put my hand up and eat my words if he does well. In fact, I want him to. It won't make India's achievements look hollow. Don't expect him to take fifers but render lots and lots of control. So far, Kohli hardly shows confidence in him. I don't see why Pandya was bowling a lot of the overs he should have been bowling. It seemed a desperate attempt to validate Pandya the all rounder.

I am not existing in this forum to make you eat your words. I frankly don't care what you think of Ashwin. My opinion was posted based on my observation of the game. If you think its biased, feel free to have your opinion.

Hardik looks like the only player who is competing from Indian side right now.

I don't know about India batting but if Kohli continues to bat the same for 1 more match fans make memes " Anushka should give divorce to VK "

At least Pandya got us out of hole. Very well played. I loved how he took on Morkel and the other SA fast bowlers. Fearlessly played and at least didn't make India's chances disappear completely. Also picked up those two crucial wickets, but would've been nice to get SA 3-4 down.

I feel India did not bowl very well today. Bowled way too short to that opener Markram, the pacers need to try to pitch it up and entice the drive. Bhuvi beat them a couple of times, but Shami has been a bit of disappointment, he's just bowling too short. Bumrah looks nothing special, not threatening at all. I hope Shami and Pandya can support Bhuvi well tommorow. The pitch is set to flatten out tomorrow so wickets are very crucial for India to stay alive in this match. Our bowlers need to show the same fight Pandya shown. They need to have the same attacking mindset of the SA seamers.

Pandya is a great talent. He also suits the style this management seems to favour.
