India tour of South Africa

Really? SA have in fact won a series in India. They've won everywhere since readmission, i think.

Statements like this infuriate me. Last time South Africa visited India, they were greeted with extremely spin-friendly conditions. Home advantage put to its full use, ensuring the visitors lost the series before even a ball was bowled. South Africa have been good hosts here, preparing conditions which suit India perfectly and giving them the best chance to win. (cynics might argue this happens all over the world because India will win/lose in less than 5 days otherwise and companies will lose revenue but that's a different argument)

India have played well, assisted by the conditions you might argue but they haven't folded like in the past. They've fought well enough. Childish, stupid statements like these are completely unnecessary.

I would argue with you on this point, especially the bold part. I don't think it's fair to say that. If it's true, shouldn't it also hold true when India go overseas and get presented with juicy/seaming/green/bouncy wickets? I'm not saying that India does not prepare pitches that begin to turn from day 1 or 2 but why does the same yardstick not apply when the pitch is a lively one when India tours overseas? I don't see anyone whining about the state of the pitch at such times?

Lineup for third test: Rahul,Rohit,Vijay,Kholi,Rahane,D.K,Hardik,ashwin,bhuvi,shami,bumrah.
No pujara after that 2 run out i presume.

Probably because thats how pitches are outside the subcontinent? Australia pitches are fast with the SCG being a turner, nearly all the English pitches offer movement. The Indian pitches offer spin freindly conditions for one team and roads for another, just rcently a curator in India was acused of pitch fixing in the NZ game i think.

That being said the pitch for this 2nd test in SA is more rememiscent of a subcontinental pitch, meaning they prep it to assist India in creating a home confitions, whereas when SA toured India they never made SA felt at home with the condiotons, instead the opposite. I believe this is the point @ParkedTheBus attempted to get across.

Jump hi, jump low the facts are India in the past have doctored pitches, and it is known!

The way Kohli showed his anger on Vijay after his dismissal in the first innings (Vijay could not implement Kohli's on field "g**nd phat jaayegi" statement), don't be surprised if Vijay is dropped and Dhawan is brought back.

This doesn't make sense. If it's spin friendly for one team, it's the same for the other team too - that or I misinterpreted it completely.

And I wasn't debating about that point....

We've heard a lot of nasty stuff from Kohli through the stump mic in this series

This attitude is exactly what makes me think why India will always struggle to win a series or even test matches overseas. Being stubborn and aggressive is one thing but not accepting the flaws is another with Shastri - Kohli combo I don't expect that too change anytime soon they will continue to be patheticly aggressive in the media.
