India tour of South Africa

Manjerekar believes he's right inside Kohli's head and knows whatever he thinks. :lol
Can we just kidnap him and throw him to Mars? I hate how he and Aakash Chopra to an extent think they are worlds best commentators in English and Hindi respectively. Both give so much of shit in the name of analysis. What is more funny is there is an autobiography book out from Manjerakar. God knows what and why to create one when you have done absolutely nothing in your career.

This is great Cricket by us, Kuldeep and Chahal have bowled amazingly well so far in the series. Top performance!

Would only like to see some competition from RSA in the next match now, won't lie that I'm loving this kinda dominating performance but doesn't feel right to see them perform this bad at home. Fingers crossed, hoping that we win the series. It'll be memorable!

Even after 34 centuries, people (oppositions) don't understand that Kohli's dominance is all about his fitness. He got a hundred today just through running. He is someone who needs to have his one's and two's plugged when he just comes in. Once he's 20 not out, you can forget about it. He won't hit bazooka sixes and to plug his doubles you should have your boundary riders 3/4th.

This is indeed sheer dominance. My question where is Philnder, Faf and AB??

FaF and AB are injured. I have no idea about Philander. I do not know why is he not playing.

Meanwhile Indian Women won by 178 runs ! 2nd consecutive win for us beautifully led by Smriti Mandana yet again. And Goswami became first women to take 200 wickets in Women ODI.

Both men and women are having a great time in SA.

India might have an edge to a series but 6-0???? I don't think so
I concur. I would be mighty impressed if they manage to do so (even if they do it against an injury-ridden team) but given our history, India are bound to have an off-day in the field - whether that's for genuine reasons or for being complacent is another thing. I do think it would be something like 5-1/4-2 instead of 6-0.

The poor quality of the cricket has been saddening. However, to all those saying its purely because of the absence of key players for SA are stretching it too far. Don't forget the way we thrashed SA in the CT just a few months back, in conditions not very different to this. SA had all the 3 playing in that game. Qdk has`nt looked like getting runs and Faf would've just ensured that the games were more competitive. The only big miss would be ABD. However, I would still back India to get over the line purely because we have a more dynamic bowling attack compared to SA.

Not to forget this is the A-lineup for South Africa's ODI bowling. Dale Steyn is missing, but still he is not a big miss. His ODI form has been ordinary at best.

Looking forward to Wanderers though with ABD coming back into the side (hopefully)

their biggest challenge in the series will be in the next match at Wanderers which is one of the most flattest deck in the world and the ball does travel a long long way due to high altitude , thin air...

True that. A few other factors should support South Africa
  • ABD's return. The much needed stability and impetus in the middle order
  • Pink Day ODI
    • Wicket is going to be a belter - boundaries and sixes will generate charity funds
    • Belter wicket will definitely test the spin twins. Might neutralize them
  • History
    • Last Pink ODI, SAF amassed 400+ runs and ABD scored a 100 in 31 balls :eek:

Nah they play pink odi (a breast cancer initiative) every year since 2012 the one you are talking happened in 2015 vs the WI and last year when the PINK ODI match was played at the Wanderers this happened :
