International Cricket 2010 Impressions Thread

Yeah, the wi are playing test like they do at the moment. So no one is answering the extra question guys, in cricket there is lots of lb, very important. I got about 10 lb in ashes, but only when there was no close fielders and i ran before the bowler got the ball.

Yup, still looking for answer on the bye and leg-bye question. And how is the no ball situation? Cant be worse than last time i hope?! Think once i had 50 odd no balls in 90 overs.

To settle some doubts and put into perspective what we have had so far:

These are a collections of completed innings or half done innings by the boys today and yesterday.

srk121 had:

Sri Lanka 496 not sure who was bowling but not England dont think.
India 313 with England the bowlers.

I have had

South Africa 213 using England
Australia 195 using the West Indies
India 30-0 off 10

Kammy had:

India 196-4 against Pakistan (roughly)
and another around the 160-3 mark.

Bravo currently have

South Africa 155-1 using the windies.

Spraggy has:

South Africa 100-4 using the mighty England


So when you look at it you cant reeally see much of a problem!


ODI and 20-20 there are no problems.

AI rarely bowls no balls! infact i have had about 5 in 3 innings lol! and i have had 7 byes intotal. 3 Leg Byes

right i got bundled out for 64/10

i am no muck with bat but the conditon has changed on day 2 and bowl was swingin drastically and i had no answers to their superb bowling.

However its like the Aussie batsmen are too aggresive and they just hit it straight to the fielders!

Why doesnt someone have a quick bash at a Bangladesh vs New Zealand test match in Bangladesh?! Both those teams should be quite similar stat wise. And being at home gives Bangladesh a slight helping hand. Im interested to know if a good batting wicket makes any difference at all.
I would expect score of 400 - 600 from top class teams on those sort of indian/pakistan wickets. I dont have any problems with the lower 250 - 350 on good spin/seam assisted wickets.

Just been beaten quite comprehensively by New Zealand in a 50 over game.

New Zealand (AI) won the toss and decided to bat first, i was England, i managed to restrict them to 273 all out in 45.5 overs but in my innings i collapsed to 134 all out in 28.1 overs.

Batting is really hard on this game and the AI bowling has improved vastly.

We've heard loads about tests and it seems the ai scores are slightly on the low side, but nothing way too drastic.

But what about ODI's and 20 20's. Has anyone played a few and were the games quite close and interesting?

He's bowled 7 no balls though, which almost always get carted for runs.
