Leicestershires come into this game with one win under their belt. The pitch is the same wicket used in the twenty20 and is dusty. However Leicestershire fancied chasing under the conditions which seems an usual choice. Snape explained how " usually we would bat first in these conditons and try and dry up the runs when bowling but the pitch is good and we think it will just flatten out as the game progresses. Hopefully our bowlers can get some life out of this wicket and we look forward to chasing." leicestershire have made one changed with Robinson replacing Masters leaving Leicestershire one specialist bowler short.

Squads:
HD Ackerman - Imran Nazir
D Robinson- Imran Farhat
J Sadler - Hasan Raza
J Allenby - Mohammad Hafeez
J Snape - Yasir Hameed
P Nixon - Asim Kamal
C Henderson - Azhar Mahmood
D Masters - Kamran Akmal
S Broad - Saqlain Mushtaq
G Kruger - Mohammad Akmal

Well Leicestershire take to the field looking to get some quick wickest during the fielding restrictions.

Leicestershire have had a tough time in the opening 15 overs after some great hitting by the openers Nazir and Farhat. Farhat has moved onto 49 from just 40 balls hitting some huge shots to the boundary. Nazir got off to an equally good start by taking advantage of the open offside field set by Leicestershires Snape. The field undoubtedly was set because Nazir is known to take on the hook but in this innings he has been disiplined depsite being dropped playing the hook just before he was eventually dismissed. Pakistan 'A' with such a high runrate will be looking for any score up over 300 and with just 2 wickets down this should be gettable.

Nazir eventually was dimissed LBW after trying to glance away a Broad Yorker. This then brought Raza to the crease who struggled to score and eventually took on the pull depsite there being a fielder out there who picked it out to take the Second wicket.

Pakistan 'A' lead by 111 runs at 7.40 R.P.O

Good bowling by Broad but apart from that its poor, we need to spark a collapse here or they could be on for a big total.

Analysis: Broad vs. Nazir- Stuck on the Back foot

Leicestershire would have discussed the importance of how Nazir is a player who likes playing the Hook. Straight away we saw two men out on the hook and expected Broad to bowl short. However he supprised us and bowled a fuller length which highlighted how Nazir was persistanly stuck on the back foot getting him in trouble.

Nazir, stuck in the crease on the back foot just didnt get anything really that short. But when Broad dropped slightly short he was hit over top including two sixes. The image below shows how he did this with just 5 runs coming from the leg side.

By bowling to short Nazir put the hook shot out of his attack and turn to alternative shots but he was still sat on the back foot which eventually led to his dismissal when Broad finally got it right, Full and Straight.

Personally i think Leicestershire missed a trick, they became preoccupied with the belief that Nazir would just go for the hook, but he didnt instead, after conceading 32 runs to Nazir Broad realised that full and straight was the option. Looking back to yesterday Nazir was dismissed by a full yorker from Broad and therefore leicestershire definelty missed a trcik today.

Great stuff. Be careful with Broad's limited overs he has left as you don't ant him all bowled out at the 40 over stage.

Terrific 10 overs from a leicestershire perspecitive considering that just 48 runs were conceeded at 4.80 runs per over compared to 7 runs per over in the previous 15 overs. this reduction is down to the introduction of spin by Snape who turned to henderson and then himself. Though no wickets have fallen if this pressure can be continued something will happen, either Pakistan 'A' hit out or get out.

Henderson has bowled 5 overs so far for just 16 runs and Snape 4 for 19 runs. However, Pakistan have already showed there method of attack by taking on both spinners and dispatching them for boundaries. Furthermore Leicestershire are also faced with a diffiuclt decision since once the spin is finsihed who do they turn to, Broad has just 3 overs left and the remaining pace bowlers have been very expensive. Hopefully the return of the pace will be more controlled.

Pakistan 'A' lead by 159 runs at 6.36 R.P.O

Pakistan 'A' managed to amass 305 despite losing 9 wickets with a flurry at the end thanks to Langeveldt and Broad. The spin of Snape and Henderson totalled 20 overs between them but conceeded just 85 runs showing how they help dramatically slowed down the runrate. Imran Farhat top scored with an unbelievable 122 from just 124 balls which could easily prove to be a match winning performance.

Broad eventually finished up with 4 for 61 despite having his last over torn apart from some good hitting by Umar Gul. Langeveldt recovered from a terribel start to finish with respectable figures of 2 for 61 and allenby chipped in with a great 2 for 52. For Pakistan 'A' Farhat had little support with just hafeez offering real support in a big partnership and with 48 runs before i top edged henderson to first slip. Pakistan 'A' coudl have easily got up to 330 but lost too many wickets at the end with mahmood falling to the hook shot and those around him to some good tight bowling with no hit balls.

Leicestershire require 306 at 6.12 R.P.O to win
