Could I get my 5 cop game in? I've planned it well, and it'll be a minigame only so I'm expecting it to get over by 1 week. At the same time, it'll be a good experience for the newbies, as I want it to be a game for the newbies.

Is anyone else concerned about this trend that's developing of night-killing good players early on, just because they have played well in the past? It's not against the rules I guess, and I can't think of any way of preventing it, but it is clearly bad for the game, which is so much more enjoyable when players are playing well.

The ideal solution would be for everyone to play well equally, but I think you'll concede we're still some way from that, and may never achieve it.

Well the Mafia usually kills someone if they believe he has an important role however it's not often that they find out someone has that kind of role and they gotta kill someone, so they would obviously go for someone who is helping the town and figuring things out, which are the "good" players and obviously the Mafia want to win so they kill them. Now if some 'not so good players' were to start playing well in a particular game, I'm, sure the mafia would want to get rid of that player, regardless of his previous skill.

I think you can start your game whenever you want. It helps if you have some experience, so you now how to properly balance the game. Of course, even with all the planning in the world, your game could still turn out to be dud if you mostly have dud players.

Quicktopic is the site used for mafia players to discuss their tactics.

Sorry SachinFan but 'Pick Your Death' doesn't sound like a mafia game to me. Have you done a bit of reading on the mafia game wiki etc.? I'm fairly sure you will need to be familiar with quicktopic (or something similar) before you can run a game. How many games have you played?

Have you read the first post in this thread, and the links from it. You need to read the wikis etc. in those links before even playing a game, let alone hosting one. The first post also lists all the past games, to give you an idea for a name. Most people choose a movie, book or TV series. The first two examples that came to my mind were "The Untouchables" and "Scream", but you might also do "Batman", "Star Wars", "Clash of the Titans" - I don't know. Everyone is trying to avoid being killed, which was why I thought "Pick Your Death" didn't work as a name for one of these games.

Apparently no-one in India can access quicktopic - it has been mentioned several times. I think User2010 knows of an alternative to use, so you need to ask him.

6ry4nj yes, I have read those wikis. I actually have played epic mafia before but forum mafia is somewhat different.
