Hinrich is never going to be more than an average role player. He's never going to have a huge upside. Brewer is a better role player, but the Bulls roster is still looking a bit lean with Boozer out. Luckily they didn't lose all that much in the offseason.

It's Yao vs. Dwight tomorrow in preseason, provided both play.

Got a chance to see the Rockets for the first time this season yesterday against the Spurs. Yao looks very out of it. Really hope he gets back into some form in the next 6 preseason games.

Kevin Martin's shooting has got a lot better, especially from outside. Chuck Hayes has become a lean, mean machine and is likely to get plenty of minutes at PF. Budinger has probably improved the most of any of our team in the offseason, though.

Did anyone see the Spurs Rockets game the other day? How did Penney look? Were both of his 3 point shots running off screens?

I'll be following the Spurs closely if he's getting game time.

I actually didn't watch it live--watch it online. First time to watch them as in watch the new team playing.

DSB, as I'm sure you've heard, Penney was cut from the Spurs. Both his threes were off screens, btw.

Yeah, disappointing but at the same time I'd rather have him playing for a team I care about. How selfish of me

Heat probably got their worst game of the season out of the way. Still lost by only 8 points. Scary how good this team will be when D-Wade recovers from injury.
