NBA Discussion Thread

I can't wait for Tuesday. Kinda pissed I won't be playing the game till Wednesday, though, since I have a billiards league that tends to go on till midnight.

Is Boozer that effective? I know few seasons ago he was decent player but never thought of him as one who will be missed.

He's definitely an important piece and provides a lot of offense in the front court. I'm really looking forward to watching him and Rose work together on their pick & rolls. That and we signed for $75 million...

I can't even recognize half players in Bulls side. You guys had a great PG where did he go? Forgot his name.

BC seems to have good forward line up but lack in good sharp shooters. Guess they will again rely on their defense to win games.

You mean Rose? The guy everyone's been pipping as the next great PG? The one who was in Team USA's starting lineup? Yeah I've heard of him. :p

Who is BC?

Boozer was their big sign this off-season unless I'm forgetting someone, so it sucks that he will be out when they are trying to develop their identity in November.

BC = Boston Celtics :p

Kirk Hinrich

This guy used to score heavily in my NBA 2007 game.

Ah Boston should have an interesting year. They're huge (physically) with the signings of both O'Neals but as you said are missing shooters after House left and Ray Allen is stagnating. Nate Robinson is still around, though, right? And they picked up Von Wafer, who is a good shooter and very athletic (played half a season with the Rockets a couple of seasons ago when T-Mac went down).

Nate is still there but he is best suited for 2-3 minutes burst every quarter.

I mean Eddie House was the only offensive spark Celtics had off the bench shooting wise, and he was gone for the last third of the season, so it shouldn't be too big of an issue.

Ah yes, he was ridiculous from 3-pt land in 2K7. He was very inconsistent in real life, had something like 5 good games offensively. He got traded to Washington to create cap room in order to lure Queen James. Wiz really need a backup PG seeing as how Arenas has issues.

I think Wizards should be good at PG with John Wall and Hinrich off the bench and Arenas at SG and picking up PG when required.

Aye, meant to say need'ed'. Hinrich should be a good fit.

Many Bulls tend to think we gave up a lot by getting rid of him, but I feel Brewer is an upgrade when you consider the new team make up.
