New Brian Lara International Cricket Press Release and Screens

Cricket 2004 graphics looked better than that.
Check out where the person is holding the bat top and bottom grip
and score 26-5 in 3 overs , talk about realims

If you'd read the thread you'd know the score issue has already been addressed. The AI configs haven't been done yet.
As for the quality of the screens, firstly this is Xbox and secondly release isn't for another few months.

i think these screenies are of th ICC champions trophy and world cup looking at the advertising hoardings

Wow they look excellent! :)

I cant wait for the videos.Because for some strange reason I get the feeling that the gameplay wont be all that smooth and the controls will be sluggish :(

I hope I'm wrong.

Obviously. But I just get the feeling that it wont be smooth enough.

RG has posted on the Codies forum wrt the score. He said that gameplay and pacing are the last things to be tweaked and they haven't been done yet.

Thanks baramyarmy. That is a little relief.

Cricket 2004 graphics looked better?

this game still has like 3 months till release and these graphics are already way better then Cricket 2004 is now

I noticed that the graphics are improving as the screenshots go on, also, the players have liscenced bats like kookaburra and mrf, does this mean that BLIC has bought the rights to the bats

Well the close in graphics of BLIC are much better but the default camera angle look of BLIC is not that great, and I prefer the one we have in C2004.

Well, it looks like codies have bought the licenses that EA didn't want (or afford), like bats and umpires.

EA are cheap, they could have at least used the money somewhere else if they didnt but the rights but they chose to pocket it
