New Zealand in Bangladesh, October 2010/11

Let me get this straight. So to you Zims, no, not even Zims, Zims A is better team than Ban natioanl?

what i'm saying is that a full strenght Zimbabwe squad is slightly better than what bangladesh have now, hope that clears it up.

Yeah not liking Watling at 3. Why is Williamson not in the team you could have him at 3 or 6. Surely this would be the time to get him in against Bangladesh. He would also provide some handy overs but I suppose with N.McCullum in there as second spinner he wont be needed as much.

Never been a fan of Elliott but I suppose you just stick with him until Styris gets back as he is almost a like for like replacement. As for Tuffey I think its his lack of pace that is a real problem for him which is probably why Vettori would rather McKay (also due to the fact hes a left armer). But I would still have Tuffey instead because of his control and would persist with Southee also.

Not really. Remember the last time the two sides played Bangladesh won the 5 ODI series 4-1.

i thought he was in bangladesh, so does he watch the match on tv; then report it or something?

Nah he has some special software that he uses to commentate from his place. He watches it on tv. Be too expensive to have the commentators at the actual place. Though for some games they do have people at the games who comment on the weather and pitch I think.

that was a while back. with former players making a return to the squad and the recent upsets against India in that tri-series and in the T20WC warm-ups, Zimbabwe do have a in-form strong squad. (btw this is my opinion)

So has Williamson been dropped after that awful debut series?

Great win for Bangladesh!!! Oh and Mortaza and Nazmul are out for the rest of the series I think. Their replacements are Dolar and Rasel. Would've gotten Shahadat and Tapash into the team.

They didn't beat India, that was India A.

And we beat the same team that you are referring to, 4-1, 3-1, 4-1, home, home, away, in 12+ months. J

I get it, your are upset, because NZ lost, that doesn't mean you have to make Ban look bad, by saying Zim A is better than Ban national. That's just stupid. That also means, you guys just lost to a team that is not even at A lvl.

He's not in the playing XI but he's with the side in Bangladesh and will probably get a few matches, especially seeing how Watling/Stewart/Elliott did in that last match

if bangladesh win his series, than there will no surprise:laugh

I'd be incredibly surprised...

I'd say that both Bangladesh and Zimbabwe are getting better but both are quite on and off. They have good days and bad days quite often.

In the past 6 ODI's Banglash has beaten England and New Zealand in ODI's, but they've also lost against Ireland and the Netherlands.

So their form is not consistent.
