New Zealand in Bangladesh, October 2010/11

In Savar, where the warm-up match will be played, it's on Sunday 'mostly sunny'. In the following 8 days scattered thunderstorms are expected. It's the same for the Mirpur area.

Hopefully the weather predictions are wrong.

FFS, both warm-up matches have been rained out now, hopefully it clears up in two days time.

NZ asked if they could practice on the main pitch after the 1st WU match got washed off. BCB allowed it. They've been practicing on the center wicket since. So obviously they already knew there won't be any 2nd match. It also means, Mirpur area is rain free, and hopefully it stays that way.

I want all 5 matches. I don't remember when was the last time they played a 5 match ODI series.

Well I would've preferred to have a couple of tests but 5 ODIs isn't too bad.

I guess the weather prediction wasn't that right. It still says 'mostly sunny', with chance of precipitation of 10%. And this is still written while a whole match has been cancelled.

That weather prediction on the website where cricinfo refers to (10 day Weather in Dhaka - weather.co.uk) doesn't seem to be reliable. Somebody got a better one?

I hope for New Zealand the weather prediction on that page isn't true. On that page it says there is 95% of rain in the upcoming 10 days.

How dumb the BCB, letting them pratice on the main pitch? They lnever learn...

Our strike bowler Shafiul Islam, plus Rubel Hossain could be out for the 1st ODI. Keeper Rahim has fever. Too many injuries. I don't really care much for Rahim. It's just fever, plus I don't like his keeping any ways. So gives a chance to Jahurul to wk, and probably even open the batting since Tamim is not here.

But Shafiul will be a big miss.

Screw the weather links. It's sunny and bright in Mirpur. Live update from guy who lives there. BC.COM

game started.

such a effed up line up. Nafees? When was the last time he played? Why would they rest Jahurul for him? He did great in Eng

Interesting to see both Stewart and Watling playing, and Watling down so low. Would've thought they'd persist with Williamson...

oh WTF that stumping was out
