WARNE SPINNING AUSTRALIA INTO A WINNING POSITION

Shane Warne has taken his third and most crucial wicket of the innings to give Australia a clear advantage. Warne and Gillespie combined to completely stop all of Nathan Astle?s runs with some tight and accurate bowling. Astle eventually decided to hit out against Warney but was beaten by the flight of the ball and had his bails removed quickly by Gilchrist for a good stumping?

Go on Warny!!!! But 3/145 is little expensive to Warny standards!!! But gud to see Warny takingoff the dangerman Astle!!!! I still remember Astle's firing double ton against England(infact the quickest so for)!!!!

Go on Aussies!!! :cheers

Aussies can win this game now. Well done Cricket_60, great work with this Aussie team. :D. By the way is the 'out' picture from in-game or is it from real life.

:cheers,
Leftie

The Kiwi batsmen need to bat for as long as possible to dry and force the draw. If they can make it to tea they will have a good chance of drawing the match and the series?

The Kiwis would have done the rain dance at tea. If Australia get rid of Vettori I think Australia will win.

DIZZY AGAIN PERFORMING WITH THE BALL

Jason Gillespie?s comeback has been a successful one. Dizzy has just picked up his 3rd wicket of the innings to all but end the Kiwi challenge. Daniel Vettori looked to defend a ball that nipped in sharply after pitching and was rapped on the pads on the top of middle for 34. Another good innings from the Kiwi spinner but unfortunately it probably wasn?t enough to get his team to safety?

Aussies should win from here, shouldn't be too difficult to chase the runs down as NZ have made 400+. Great presentation, keep it up.

WARNE TAKES FOURTH WICKET

James Franklin?s unsteady innings has come to an end at the hands of the master spinner, Shane Warne. Franklin tried to dab a leg break from Warne down into the ground but was beaten by the bounce off the pitched a edged it right to Ricky Ponting who was waiting at silly mid off. Australia will now be turning their attention towards the chase with only 1 wicket left?

Good to see Warny....

Nothing I can do about It because the text is merged onto the base picture.

Sorry lol :D

AUSTRALIA CLAIM THE FINAL WICKET

Brett Lee has claimed the final wicket of the innings to leave Australia requiring 197 runs in just under half a days play. Leer suprised Chris Martin with a vicious short ball and had the tailender hanging his bat in the way of the ball directed at his throat. The ball took the splice of the bat and skied up into the air in the direction of the slips where Langer took an easy catch. It seems the Kiwis haven't quite done enough to ensure a victory...
