VETTORI PICKS UP ANOTHER

Australia is in real danger of loosing this golden opportunity to win after Ricky Ponting was caught at square leg for 54. Ponting used his feet to get to the pitch of the ball but miscued the shot and could only watch as the ball sailed into Styris? hands. The Aussie?s are now 122/3 in 35 overs, still requiring 75 runs to win with only 30 minutes left. Where is Andrew Symonds when you need him?

M.Clarke 6(3)*
D.Martyn 10(14)*
R.Ponting 54(76)
Aus: 3/122 (35)
Australia require 75 runs to win
7 wickets in hand
5.29 PM: Day 5

C.Martin 0/16 (7)
J.Franklin 1/28 (10)
D.Vettori 2/35 (10)
S.Styris 0/39 (8)

Important batsman is lost....Its now a tough chance for Aussies.... But Symonds can make a difference!!!

hey please answer bout the bf shots do they make the right sound lik they do for cpu and right timing lik the cpus

Ooh...this IS looking pretty tight. If Symonds gets a start, Australia will probably win. If not, then a draw will probably result. Good luck :)

At the start of the innings I find it hard to time the ball properly on the back foot but as I get more confidence the batsmen sweetly time it and get that nice sound more often.

Thanks for everyone's continued support and responses, A very tense update coming soon :D

LAST ROLL OF THE DICE FOR AUSTRALIA

It?s now or never for the Australian batsmen, there is only enough time left for 2 overs and Australia requires 22 runs to win. Michael Clarke has been in great form, scoring 48* of 30 deliveries including two 6?s. Damien Martyn has been slower but has the capacity to score quickly. The Series is about to be decided?.

D.Martyn 20(29)*
R.Ponting 54(76)
Aus: 3/175 (42)

AUSTRALIA REQUIRE 18 TO WIN: 179/3 (42.1)

Michael Clarke has brought up a brilliant fifty under pressure with a top quality boundary over cover. Clarke moved across to a wide ball and slogged it over the men at cover, much to the dismay of Kiwi captain Stephen Fleming. Everyone around the ground is now on edge, what will happen?

M.Clarke 52(31)*
D.Martyn 20(29)*
R.Ponting 54(76)
Aus: 3/179 (42.1)
Australia require 18 runs to win
7 wickets in hand
5.55 PM: Day 5

AUSTRALIA REQUIRE 14 TO WIN: 183/3 (42.2)

Clarke has again slogged a four over the infield even after Stephen Fleming put boundary men patrolling the ropes. Clarke was on this occasion was extremely lucky, he reached across for a ball outside off and clobbered it over mid wicket, the ball didn't find the middle of the bat but went to the one place in the ground were there wasn't a fielder to catch it...

M.Clarke 56(32)*
D.Martyn 20(29)*
