AUSTRALIA REQUIRE 10 TO WIN: 187/3 (42.3)

Michael Clarke has struck yet another four to bring the game closer to Australia. Clarke heaved Scott Styris over mid wicket just above the fielder's head and into the rope after 2 bounces. All eyes are fixated on Styris as he runs in to bowl the fourth ball of the over...

M.Clarke 60(33)*
D.Martyn 20(29)*
R.Ponting 54(76)
Aus: 187/3 (42.3)
Australia require 10 runs
7 wickets in hand

Just to let you know that I have somehow managed to get a stress fracture in my foot playing AFL and will not be able to update this as much due to appointments etc. I also have exams coming up in a while.

:cheers for your support and patience everyone.

AUSTRALIA REQUIRE 8 TO WIN: 185/3 (42.4)

Scott Styris has potentially saved the match for the Kiwis by steming the flow of 4's. Clarke again charged out of his crease and tried to smash Styris over cover but got a thick outside edge which flew over point but only just managed to get the Aussies two runs. Two 4's are now required for Australia to win...

8 TO WIN: 2 BALLS REMAINING, CAN THEY DO IT?

This is agony for both teams, great stuff, though, my bet is New Zealand will do it.

same here i cant believe it but u must no the answer Cricket 60 coz u cant save between balls so y not post the end instead of this

Look's like you've made a habit of getting into close matches Cricket 60. I'd say it would be a draw but with Styris bowling you never know. I'll have a punt and say one of these last two balls is a swing and miss.

AUSTRALIA REQUIRE 8 TO WIN: 185/3 (42.5)

Australia have narrowly missed out on an emphatic victory over the Kiwis after a swing and miss my Michael Clarke. Clarke got forward and took an almighty swipe at the ball but was beaten by swing and let the ball go through to the keeper. The crowd roared as the ball whislted through as they now know that an Australian victory can only result from 2 no ball's + a 6...

THE KIWIS HOLD ON FOR A DRAW

Still one ball left... wht abt a no ball six?? i feel the batsman cud hve gone for a straight drive instead of swinging and missing....

Anyways, its a great job by Kiwis defending the world champs for low target and taking it to a draw!!! Well done!!! :cheers

Styris will be under pressure now ...as a no ball will cost the match .Clarke will go for it and if its a no ball and a 4 or 6 then Aus are winning this one.
nice presentation mate:cheers

MATCH ENDS IN A PHENOMENAL DRAW

Scott Styris has just done enough to save his team from a defeat in the last over. He managed to keep off bowling a no ball but still got smashed for 6 over cover as a final act of defiance from Clarke. The Aussies will be bitterly disappointed at not winning the test cup as they know have to face the Kiwis ODI team, which is one known for its huge scores and big hitting...
