Malik had bowled a wicket-maiden last over and Boucher and Boje are in the middle for the last over. Boucher is on strike needing 2 runs off 6 balls. It seems like it's all over for Pakistan with Asif bowling the last over, but if Asif get Boucher's wicket it is still very achievable.

South Africa have won by 2 wickets in this thriller against Pakistan. Mark Boucher scored the winning runs with a great six over wide long-on on the last ball of Asif's final over.

Graeme Smith: I'm absolutely thrilled with my team's great work and effort they've put into it, especially the lower order like Prince, Boucher and Van der Wath and obviously me. I hope we can do this again in the next match.

Inzamam-Ul-Haq: I have to say, South Africa are very good, no wonder they're second only to Australia in One Day matches. For a while we thought we would've won but then came the slogging. I'm disappointed with Asif's bowling, his figures were very bad.

The Man of the Match is Shoaib Malik for his great effort even though his side lost. Shoaib Malik scored a massive 176* and took 1-2.

Great work by SA...didn't expect them to win after lots of wickets went down but in the end they did it...

= 46/18*100
= 255.5

wow wow wow!!!!! When i saw, SA had very very tough chance!!!! But they have won the game!!!! Full credits to Boucher for his hammering in just 18 balls!!!!

2nd ODI RSA v PAK

The second ODI between South Africa and Pakistan will be played at the Wanderers.

This pitch will suit the spinners more than the seamers due to the dryness of the pitch. There are a few changes to the teams with Arshad Khan replacing Fazle Akbar and Andre Nel and Andrew Hall coming into South Africa's team for the second ODI.

After 10 Overs

After 10 overs, Pakistan openers, Shoaib Malik and Salman Butt have made a solid 66 run partnership. Ntini wasn't so successful when bowling after being hit for several boundaries in one over by Malik but Pollock on the other hand was very consistent as always and kept the runs on the other end down.

South Africa getting early wickets

Andre Nel has bowled Butt on 24 (31) with a beautiful late in-swinger from around the wicket. Butt was going to defend the ball on his front foot onto the legside but when the ball swung back in it was too late, Butt played his shot too early and ended up with his off-stump being uprooted.

Kallis has gotten the wicket of Malik on 47 with a great out-swinger which swung for middle to off. Malik tried to play it in between fine-leg and square-leg but edged it and was caught by Dippenaar at first slip.

Pakistan are 2-80 after 13 overs.

Nel gets 2

Nel has claimed 2 wickets after performing a caught and bowled from Afridi for 10 (26), Nel bowled a nice out-swinger that seemed like it was going wide but swung back in, Afridi tried to drive straight down the ground but that approach proved unsuccessful after edging it straight back to Nel.

Pakistan are 3-111 after 18 overs.

Pakistan seem like they are going to make a large total after a solid start and great batting by Khan. Nel is bowling very good today, he has figures of 2-38 (5). This pitch doesn't let the ball bounce too much giving the bowlers the advantage.
