nah, I'm not, I'd much rather they went at them, it would be a lot better to watch. but I'm just saying that the commentators are all "oh pakistan are handing it to them on a plate, they should do this and this and this." and they're not, they're trying to grind them out a bit. It's a valid tactic. It was crap to watch when dhoni set that 8-1 field and bowled against australia in 2008 in india, but it worked.

I think pakistan need to try sami though, too predictable with their bowling. they bowled asif and same a lot before they gave gul and kaneria much of a chance yesterday, all because asif and sami did the damage first innings. now he's being to reliant on gul and kaneria recapturing yesterdays form. spread it around, different day, different bowler might be the one.

To be fair, Hussey has been dropped what? 3 times by Akmal? Pretty lucky. Mind you, he seems to be batting really well here giving Australia a chance. Siddle doing well also. They still need more though. And if Siddle departs it's up to Hussey to hit a quick 20 odd extra.
