Gee Harris getting wickets, who'd have thought? Maybe the selectors - and me- saw that he bowled actually quite well this summer, without getting big hauls.
Siddle picked the wrong time to be injured, could well have been passed by Harris. Was getting nervous with the ease Pakistan were getting 9-10 an over.
Well, I dont like Lee, but he is a great one day bowler. Through his career he's been a much much better one day bowler than test bowler, his place has never been questioned in the ODI's. But you'd figure he would find it tough with the quality displays by our younger guys, maybe the next WC could be Lee's ODI send off? Or maybe he's done and dusted.
Another win to Australia, however you do have to feel sorry for Pakistan. They copped their fair share of poo umpiring decisions that game. If the review system is used in tests I can't understand for the life of me why it's not being used in ODIs. It's just typical though. Typical ICC really.
Well I can assure you Butt had a century in him, you look at the team after the wicket they were stunned, Yousuf and Younis basically gave their wicket away because they knew no matter what happened Butt was going to get a century and Silva took it away unbelievable. They would have won the match. Also, if the Silva call on Kamran is 50-50 that means there is some doubt and if there is any sort of doubt the benefit goes to the batsmen and thats two. I will still keep it the same Butt's wicket destroyed Pakistan's chances and even though they fought hard til the end it was too much for 4 batsmen to overcome, too much. Butt shouldn't have been out and Pakistan would have had a MUCH better chance to win the match no doubt, there is absolutely no excuses for this game.
I don't think Bracken is a walk in atm especially with Bollinger bowling so well.
I would say the order is Johnson, Bollinger, Lee, Harris/McKay, Bracken, Siddle, Hilfenhaus.
