Pakistan Tour of Australia 2009/10

LMAO, I'm actually in love with Hussey again. The way he moved at the crease today was brilliant, his cover drives and pulls were vintage.... unmatchable!

Whoa I honestly thought you said "vagina" instead of "vintage" there

Hopefully North can do something tomorrow.

You have a dirty mind, take a look at this and tell me what you see:

why if you had a good, in form, legspinner (traditionally very good on australian pitches) would you drop him and pick a an offspinner (traditionally rubbish on australian pitches)???????

didn't Kaneria take 7 wickets in the last match?

idiots

There wasn't any chance of Kaneria to play 1st Test that's why Pakistan was forced to have Ajmal in.

send2yaari added 2 Minutes and 26 Seconds later...

Hussey has found his form back IMO. His cover drives have been superb. Last year they all went to the slips or keeper.

Btw Gazza don't reply to this post, you'll just be ignored :p

Even today he nick one to Young Akmal but couldn't able to grab that one shame:facepalm

Though the score may not show it, Pakistan do have quite a few positives to take out of the day. They went out on a very good note by taking 3 wickets, Aamer bowled really well and at serious pace and Ajmal looked in really good rhythm which will be a valuable asset in Australia's second innings.

On a different topic, as much as I like Aamer, I can't help but feel he is going to continue getting no reward for good bowling unless he develops an inswinger to the right hander/outswinger to the left hander. It's a little one dimensional at the moment and he just isn't attacking the off stump enough. Plus, with his angle, if he does attack the stumps, he would have to pitch it a fair way outside leg stump so batsmen are probably going to work it to the leg side, which also makes LBWs even harder. He absolutely has to find a way to swing it the other way or should at least move closer himself to the stumps every now and then so he has a chance of getting the batsman bowled/LBW.

Shravi actually pitch doesn't have much assistance for swing, you are pretty right that he is at the moment totally one dimensional but if the pitch offer him a bit he can really trouble Aussie batsman and most important fielders must have to help him to catch one or two catches.
Waqar is working hard on him,one of the major problem with Aameer is that he puts his head down when deliver the ball and he isn't bowling with his full chest open towards the batsman but after looking first day play there is lots of improvement in his way of delivering the ball so we can hope that he will learn in and out swingers from Great waqar.

True, I know that the pitch isn't very conducive for swing bowling but my point was that assistance for swing or not, his action, positioning and angle don't allow for swing into the right hander at the moment.
