Pakistan Tour of Australia 2009/10

Please, Pakistan do win this match so Ricky can be punished for such a stupid declaration.

I think it was an awesome dec. Need plenty of time to bowl the Pakis out twice, and back to back tests too, so dont want to bowl 3 innings in a row, possibly. What if we did score 600, then spend 3 days in the field, and lose the toss and bowl first at the SCG? Our attack will be knackered. Ian Chappell always says the hardest way to win a test is to bowl the other team out in consecutive innings. I dont see how this dec is anything but aggressive and great for the game.

I guess the Ponting haters just hate him whatever he does.

Yea I thought Ponting did the right thing also. Although this Pakistan team doesn't have the strongest batting line-up in the world whenever your number nine batsmen can make 70 odd runs and bat for three plus hours you know your team may need as much time as possible to bowl the opposition out.

Yep and most people already knew that before today.

Well Pakistan played good in NZ and WI really struggled for the last few years.

I don't think any1 had the idea that WI>>>PAK before this summer.

The West Indies haven't really struggled though. I mean they drew 0-0 with New Zealand last summer and were able to win the series against England earlier this year. Not to mention they actually pushed Australia in the Windies in 2008 also. Anyone who had been following the two teams (Australia and West Indies) knew they would push them during this tour, it was just a shame they lost Edwards and Taylor.

Pakistan on the other hand have hardly played any cricket (test cricket) and lost their best test batsmen well before this tour began. There top three is horrible and Mo Yo IMO is well past his best (as he showed for the most part in New Zealand), and don't get me started on his captaincy.

Well things need to change for Pakistan big time. Yousef isnt the best captain and it is time the PCB stop playing musical chairs with the Pakistani captaincy. Younis despite his poor form would have been vital for Pakistan even in place of Iqbal

It's all Krejza's fault. Had he played this game, Pakistan would have been in much better position :p

Weren't the games like three days of actual play? :sarcasm
