Ponting has got out to his pull shot quite a bit even in his prime, but usually hes got 90 odd runs. Right now hes not keeping it down like he was in his prime. Ironically I remember the commentators comparing I think Watson's pull shot to Ponting's and they mentioned how Ponting always kept his pull shot down by getting on top of the ball whereas Watson gets under it. Might be time to take a look at the tapes Ponting!

Thats worse than getting done in by Ajit Agarkar at home in a Test match (6/74 anyone)! Loving this.

On an other note, looking at how the Aussies and Englishmen in the forum come together to do India bashing, I would`nt mind Indians and Pakistani members getting together to do some Aussie/English bashing once in a while.

ponting also got out pulling to aamer in the last test now I think about it. so 3 mis-cued pulls in 5 tests.

and he's chopped a couple of short balls on to his stumps recently. he chopped on roach, and broad in the final ashes test. and had to retire hurt against roach.

definitely can't play the short ball like he used to from the looks of that.
