Pakistan Tour of Australia 2009/10

He probably just didn't want to be chasing on this pitch.. but still, with conditions looking set to get better, it seems a poor decision now.

Also, it's interesting to see people like Insomniac getting all ecstatic and jizzing themselves, already bringing out the "AUSTRALIA YOU SUCK" comments. I must admit, I probably would be excited if my team had suffered 12 consecutive test losses to Australia and they were on top early, but to be honest I think Pakistan will choke. Their batting is nothing special as they have proved and when we bat in the second innings we won't be throwing any more silly wickets away.

Fear not guys, our best batter (Hauritz) is in. Would be funny if he did manage to get a 50 again, he'll probably be telling Ponting he should be batting 5 as there was no collapse when he was there last match!

Thats worse than getting done in by Ajit Agarkar at home in a Test match (6/74 anyone)! Loving this.

On an other note, when Aussies and Englishmen in the forum come together to do India bashing, I would`nt mind Indians and Pakistani members getting together to do some Aussie/English bashing once in a while.;)

I have arrived :D

Let's start. Australia, you SUCK.

:laugh

If you read my previous posts, I have already said that we have a long way to go in this test blake.

My comment was part of the India/Pakistani bashing of Australia idea.

The conditions and pressure had nothing to do with Ponting's or Hughes dismissal, more like very poor judgement, its not like this is the first time Aus have faced swinging conditions in the past year.

Especially as it all happened so early in the innings. How can pressure build up in a test match after just 3.5 overs????

Hughes had pressure from the first ball. Back in the squad, he was eager to score. He was dropped first ball then faced an awkward maiden which included two close weaves from short balls. He wanted to get off the mark and played a loose shot. Ponting though, that was just terrible.

Because Australia haven't done that twice in the last three weeks?

I must say, who does Brad Haddin think he is? I actually rated him as a quite decent batsmen up until recently but since the West Indies series he's been nothing but wham bham thank you mam. Before he got out today he backed away and played a stupid shot which got him three, the situation didn't need it at all. But that shot he got out to :facepalm horrible, he's a better batsmen then that.
