Did anyone else think the Gambhir-Kohli spat was a staged one? I saw the replay of it, and I felt every bit that it was a staged drama to get some controversial energy into the IPL. The way Kohli suddenly swiveled back and turned his eyes towards the KKR huddle, the way Rajat Bhatia synced his run towards Gambhir and Kohli as if he was already fixed to seperate them in that spat, everything looked staged to me.

No, you've probably watched it over too many times. :rolleyes

Sreesanth now comes out and claims the 'slap gate' was pre-planned.

Bhajji more than a brother, says Sreesanth - The Times of India

And now that they are digging it up again after yday's incident raises my suspicion even more that yday's event was also STAGED!

Great win for Hyderabad. More importantly, it consigns Delhi to a 4th straight defeat. For a team that's known to bulldooze through league stages of IPL's, its a shocker to see them play like this.

Saw that, and I'm with Sreesanth, the world needs to see the video of him getting slapped/elbowed. :D

Has anyone tried this game for this years IPL?

IPL 2013. They have done a nice job this time

I wonder what Pune Warriors are doing, a combination of pathetic team selections and a poor captain making a mess of all the resources that they have.
Mendis should be playing every single game as he is the best international t20 bowler and can change the game from any situation with the ball. Marsh's selection is baffling, doesn't fit in the team combination at all. Captaincy from Mathews has been pretty bad.

Morris took Gayle there pretty well, but Kohli-ABD is crucial. Ashwin and CSK need to prise out these 2 quickly or we might be chasing a pretty huge total.

The slap gate at that time looked real. But now Sree himself comes out saying it was pre planned.

165 looks par to me, definitely defendable, but I feel there's no catching us if Hussey and Vijay get going.

Kohli was gone early but not given. But still, ordinary effort by CSK today to give RCB 165. But it's chase able for sure if CSK's batsmen apply.

Made it a lot harder than it ever had to be, a last ball no-ball finish, just incredible this.

Chennai had no business winning this. RCB dominated for 85% of the match. The top order today again failed in our home ground, and Raina/Badri got out at the wrong times. Again, Dhoni took us close and today finally Jadeja batted sensibly and along with Bravo and Morris took us home luckily.

I felt ABD deserved MoM. His innings was amazing, and almost killed us. Anyways for CSK, they have lost their home lustre again this season. Probably because the pitches are not that spin friendly anymore. But thats a good thing because it gives more runs and better carry for fast bowlers. I am happy with the Chennai pitch. Dry and spinning for the tests, hard and full of runs for IPL. Good!

Once Sir Jee got out in the last ball needing 2 runs to win, but the ground moved a bit further so as to give him no ball and he won.

Rajnikanth is now certainly in danger of having his thunder stolen by Sir Jadeja (seeing all these comments):p:lol.

Once again I repeat what I said last IPL. RCB rely on 3 batsmen (AB,Kohli and Gayle) anybody else is just a bonus. They need another pure Indian batsmen and A pure bowler like Malinga,Steyn.Morkel for situations like this.
